Your opinion is that the "Those weapons in this video cannot be found in the Nigerian army. "

When you cannot prove anything beyond surface talk you resort to "what you saw"?

Please have a little bit of restraint with what you say.
Yesterday there was a firefight in Dumaturu between BH and the NA.
A NA Captain was killed in action while Fighting a Cable got dislodged and fell on him.
He is dead
BH were killed and driven out.
It makes good writing to say NA troops are afraid that’s why the Chads were bought in.
Unless you are involved in extensive Firefights like NA is involved in , Don’t write about what you don’t know.
By the way in the Firefight yesterday in Dumaturu No Chadians were involved.

Oops!! you just didn't read these ones

You can help yourself further here: Use that tool for Mi-35 & learn more.

https://armedforces.eu/compare/helicopters_Mil_Mi-28_vs_Boeing_AH-64_Apache

Oops! Your source did not even mention Mi-35M at all, it says comparison strictly for attack helicopters only, so it excluded Mi-35M being assault helicopter. You don't even know the difference between attack & assault helo.

Your source only compared data of Apache vs Mi-28 so it does not show or prove any Mi-28 superiority over Mi-35M. Wrong comparison basis is how people fail exams and blame lecturer.

I knew you won't find any technical source to prove Mi-28 is better than Mi-35M, cuz none exists. All you càn ever prove is your own gut feelings. See how many days you laboured Googling like you will get paid, still yet no Mi-35 vs Mi-28 result to be found. grin

Ghana, with far lesser resources seems to have a much more modern army than the Nigerian Army. Before the insults starts raining down, dont deceive yourself. Those weapons in this video cannot be found in the Nigerian army. The Ratel Vehicles they use doubles as a Tank killer and self propelled artillery gun.

If you see a comparison chart with AH-64 & Mi28 but no Mi-35, common sense should tell you the later isn't competing with the former.

PRESS RELEASE

NIGERIAN ARMY VOWS TO APPREHEND AND SANCTION ANY PERSONNEL INVOLVE IN UNPROFESSIONAL/ EXTRA JUDICIAL ACTIONS

The attention of the Nigerian Army (NA) has been drawn to a video reportedly showing some NA personnel engaged in unprofessional torture and above all extra judicial killing of a suspected Boko Haram terrorist likely in the North East Theatre of Operation.

The NA wishes to clearly and strongly condemn the action of those involved (whoever they may be) in the misconduct, and that the dastardly act is completely unacceptable, unethical and is against the cherished core values of the NA especially that of respect for others and their fundamental rights.

NA training, Rules of Engagement and Standing Operating Procedures guiding the conduct of all her operations are unambiguous about human rights abuses and extra judicial actions including the rights of the arrested/captured terrorists/combatants.

Troops in the various theaters of operations in Nigeria, have been consistently warned to desist from rights infractions of any form no matter the amount of desperation, anger or provocation. NA does not license, encourage or condone indiscipline, unprofessional conduct especially extra judicial execution of suspects or combatants. Where ever, such is noticed or reported, once it is comfirmed, appropriate decisive sanction or punishment is usually immediately meted out to the perpetrators and this case would never be an exception.

Accordingly, on seeing the gory video, NA has commenced thorough investigation to apprehend the culprits with the aim to deal with them in accordance with the extant military justice system. Members of the public will surely be informed of the results of the actions taken so far.

The NA, as a responsible and law abiding organization, will remain professional in the discharge of its constitutional roles and will continue to operate within the ambit of the law in line with the local and international best practices.

*PRESS RELEASE*

*SIXTEEN BOKO HARAM/ISLAMIC STATE WEST AFRICA PROVINCE MEMBERS SURRENDER AS TROOPS INTENSIFY OPERATIONS AGAINST CRIMINAL ELEMENTS ACROSS THE COUNTRY*

The incremental raids, clearance patrols, sting operations, cordon & search operations as well as mortar and artillery bombardment of identified criminal insurgents and bandits' hideouts within the past one week has yielded tremendous positive outcomes as some of the terrorists surrendered to our gallant troops while several others were neutralised. The period equally witnessed the interception and arrest of several Boko Haram Logistics Suppliers and informants by the troops of Operation LAFIYA DOLE as well as the arrest or neutralisation of some bandits and other criminal elements in the North West and other parts of the nation.

On 1st November 2019 for instance, 16 insurgents along with 8 of their spouses who could no longer bear the heat from the onslaught against them surrendered to the relentless troops of Sector 1, Multinational Joint Task Force at Fotokol. Subsequently, the surrendered insurgents were later handed over to troops of 3 Battalion (Main) at Gamboru Ngala, a border town NE of Borno State. During preliminary interrogation and profiling, they confessed to have actively participated in attacks conducted against both military and civilian targets at various times. It was further revealed that 14 of them whose names are Ibrahim Bunu, Abba Sale, Baba Lamba Alhaji, Bukar Isa, Bukar Ali, Rawa Abba Gana, Mustapha Abatcha, Umar Abubakar, Hassan Bukar, Malam Abatcha Ali, Abba Umar Abatcha, Hussaini Babagana, Idris Mohammed and Umar Abba Bayoma all belonged to the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) led by Al - Barnawi while the remaining 2, Hassan Kawu and Babagana Bukar Adijabe belonged to Boko Haram (Abubakar Shekau Faction). The repentant insurgents however, regretted their participation in the heinous crimes they committed against humanity and are now calling on their former colleagues to retrace their steps and also surrender to troops before it is too late.

In another development, troops deployed at Gajigana in Magumeri LGA of Borno State intercepted some Boko Haram criminals in the early hours of Tuesday 5th November 2019. It is believed that the insurgents were on their way to attack the community to source for food items and other logistics for their survival. However, the vigilant troops blocked and neutralised 3 of the Boko Haram criminals while several others escaped with varying degrees of gunshot wounds. Unfortunately, one soldier paid the supreme price while 2 others were wounded in action. The wounded soldiers are currently responding to treatment in a military medical facility. Additionally, the troops captured 2 AK 47 Rifles, one Rocket Propelled Gun 7 (RPG 7), 5 AK 47 magazines, 47 Rounds of 7.62mm Special ammunition and some quantities of hard drugs during exploitation. In a related incident, another Boko Haram criminal met his waterloo on 4th November 2019 while attempting to cross into the Sambisa Forest at Bama - Banki Road Junction when own tps sighted and neutralized him.

Similarly, troops of 195 Battalion, while on clearance patrol along Gubio Road on 4th November 2019 recovered a kit bag containing 480 Rounds of 7.62mm NATO ammunition suspected to have been abandoned by escaping terrorists. In another encounter with the Boko Haram criminals on 6 November 2019 at Muchima in Damboa LGA of Borno State, 9 Boko Haram insurgents were neutralized by troops while others escaped with gunshot wounds. Additionally, one insurgent Gun Truck was destroyed, 4 AK 47 Rifles and a cache of ammunition were recovered. Similarly, troops of Sector 2 deployed at Damaturu, Yobe State dealt a decisive blow to the insurgents’ attempt to infiltrate the town on 7 November 2019. The attempted infiltration was thwarted by the combined efforts of ground troops, artillery bombardment and precision air strikes by the Air Task Force of Operation LAFIYA DOLE. The encounter led to the decimation of a number of the insurgents in addition to the destruction of one Boko Haram Gun Truck. Unfortunately, one Officer paid the supreme price during the encounter. Furthermore, during their exploitation, troops discovered and safely detonated 2 Unexploded Ordnance materials planted by the insurgents as well as the charred remains of some of the terrorists that were hurriedly buried by the criminal insurgents while withdrawing in disarray following the superior firepower of our troops.

COMBATING TERRORISM: NAF CONDUCTS EXERCISE BABBAN NAUSHI IN MINNA, REASSURES NIGERIANS OF COMMITMENT TO NATION’S SECURITY

Barely 2 weeks after the successful conduct of EXERCISE NA ZO along the Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road to prepare personnel to more effectively checkmate the activities of bandits and kidnappers, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has conducted another counter terrorism (CT) Simulation Exercise, nicknamed EXERCISE BABBAN NAUSHI, along Minna-Zungeru Road, Niger State.
The Exercise, which involved the employment of NAF Special Forces (SF), “THE PANTHERS”, operating in concert with air assets as well as support elements, is another in a series aimed at improving NAF CT posture to effectively respond to any security threat within the country.
