Poweramp is better yes but its damn ugly.. Also m not an audio engineer so I don't need the excessive sound tweaks it offers.. So hence why I suggest the inbuilt Miui sound engine + Stellio for people like me.. Its all a matter of preference


P.S. Poweramp no even reach ViperFX for audio.. That one na god of sound

You can actually use the slider to change tracks seemlessly like a pro dj. Another feature that I like is the crossfade option which allows you to play music non stop continuously track after track. It's also available in poweramp.

Today makes it a year since i got my redmi note 5. I bless those who recommended it to me daily. This past year, I have never had cause to replace any part or experienced any issue with it. The battery is still strong (7 hours SOT at least, on a good day I get 8 hrs 30 mins). For a phone I got so cheap compared to others I have used, I am still in love with it that I don't even think of getting a new one. Xiaomi RN5 has been my best device yet! No jokes...

I just downloaded and it's amazing truly, got to know that just can even do a lot on my lock screen without unlocking my phone but really I wouldn't mind someone putting me through on all the right settings needed it plays my WhatsApp status too and I don't need all that, please help

At the first bolded, if you need help with anything. Say it and stop concluding. You didn't play around with the settings and you concluded.

If you want to play video files it will. If you want it to ignore it, and all your video folders it will.

At the second bolded, you didn't need that at all. It's not our fault that you don't know how to set it to suit your needs. Plus, this ain't overhyping, if you go beyond Nairaland, to Reddit and co, Poweramp, always comes first.

Simple bro, go to the Poweramp settings, then tap on library>music folders>then tap the drop down menu close to your internal storage and untick the whatsapp folder.

After that, click on select folders and the app will scan your musics. That's all.

You can also use that same method to select all your music folders and remove any video folders that is ticked.

@kallmemrB can also follow this method too.

Poweramp has so many features that makes it better than any other music player once explored and understood.

Step 1. First, you will need to download the Mi Mover app onto your old phone and the new Xiaomi device.



Step 2. Open the Mi Mover app on both the sending and the receiving devices.



Step 3. In the app on the sending device, tap on I'm a sender. Then, on your Xiaomi receiving device tap on I'm a receiver.



Step 4. On the sending device, scan the QR code that has appeared on the screen.



Step 5. Now, select the apps and other information that you would like to move to the new phone. When ready, tap on Send.



Step 6. Wait until the whole process has finished (the time needed, naturally, depends on how much data you have to transfer). When it's done and you don't have any more information to transfer, tap on Finish. That's it! Your data has been successfully transferred to your new Xiaomi smartphone.

PLsssss Brothers, i just join the Redmi family. I av been using Tecno and Infinix a long time. I bought Redmi note 7 3gb ram last week. i love the display of the phone though it is a little bit heavy. i also did an update of the phone system. But the phone gradually get warm or a little bit hot wen my data is on or wen the phone is on hotspot and is charging at same time. The phone battery last a whole day wen fully charge in the morning by normal usage.
Pls guys...should i be worried especially the phone gettin little bit hot wen my data is on.
Pls brothers....help me. i bought it recently

But you know 4G evolution was gradual like 3G that started with UTMS up to HSDPA.
