Read what the #ConfusedJudgement says:
the Appeal Court would have
ordered a retrial of the hearing
but time allotted to the
Election Petition Tribunal
had lapsed.
Interpreted to mean a retrial of the hearing of the petition all over again and NOT A RERUN .
The worst the Supreme Court could do is to order another Panel to retry the peculiar mess.
500,000 + votes bah wasa .

They have stopped.

But the Appeal court failed to rule on the election because of time. It didn't re affirm Makide either as channels claimed.
It is not court that wins elections it is the polls
So Appeal court judges haven collected mon y from Adelabu gave him a useless judgement . PDP won't go to supreme Court....since their Governor remains. ....most important
And if APC goes ...what would they say ...you can't appeal a judgement that favoured you ...anyway let's watch the drama
But
It is canterkerous judgement.....

Just to add....
https://m.guardian.ng/news/appeal-court-faults-seyi-makindes-victory-at-tribunal/

The panel, however, affirmed the victory of Makinde of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Oyo State governorship election.

It upheld the decision of the tribunal, which declared Makinde as the winner of the March 9 poll, in a unanimous judgement delivered Yahaya.

They should let go after winning the appeal? It’s like some of you don’t even understand the implication of what happened today. Makinde’s seat is now shaking with this decision. Appeal court decided all the issues raised in favour of Adedibu but refused to make any consequential order simply because of time. The decision of the election petition tribunal was declared a miscarriage of justice and then nullified.

What they should have done was to order a retrial but the case is already time bound. Supreme Court will have to make that consequential order except PDP’s appeal succeeds at the apex court.
Yes.only you and two others understood the judgment.what happened is that the appeal court in a majority judgment discovered that the apc were not given fair hearing and that documents and other evidences presented by the apc were ignored by the tribunal which is a miscarriage of justice.and that if they scrutinized these evidences, perhaps they would reach a different conclusion.they then decided that the trial tribunal judgment affirming makinde victory is nullified and should retry the case but since it the 180 days period has elapsed, the status quo remain.

They are now leaving the matter for the supreme court to decide.they could have based on the strength of the documents made a declaration either cancelling the polls or declaring adelabu

.for them to come down hard on the tribunal means that the documents had incriminating facts.perhaps, they didnt want to make a declaration which the apex court will cancel and therefore ridiculing the judges.therefore, this is a wise move.very tactical.the supreme court should now look at the documents and see whether a declaration should made be made or not.

Adelabu complained of irregularities in 1,334 polling units and only called 38 polling unit agents out of which majority of them confirmed that the election conducted by INEC complied strictly with the Electoral Act.
