Ah!!! Just scan only ke?! In my clinic dey asked me 2 do so many test dt i cant even remember most of it.... Apart frm d scan test i was asked 2 do urinalysis, hepatitis A,b n c test, blood group n blood type test, pcv test, malaria test, typoid test, i dnt remember d rest.

As I brought myself here like 2 weeks ago about the low pcv, I was advised here to take garden egg leaf. I did as advice. My pcv increased from 27% to 34%. Any Enugu mum here, I need a good hospital to register for ante-natal, the one I registered with in my street ehn, I don't even understand their doings, no ante-natal days, nothing nothing, I'm 12weeks plus and haven't been recommended for a scan yet, pls I need help from experienced mums, the first one I lost I wasn't told what went wrong and I really don't want to take any chance with this one, pls help me cos I'm clueless.

Please is it normal for babies to have constant hiccups at close to 40 weeks. My baby gets hiccups normally but it seems to have increased in the past few days (she’s had it about 4 times today already). Please help.

Maam's abeg help me put mouth, what normally makes someone body shake sometimes if you don't eat on time during pregnancy. I don't always feel hungry but after eating the shaking will stop. Did anyone experience the same?

Mama let me share my experience with you, last week Tuesday I woke up not feeling hungry at all, I managed to take very little pap with nothing, in the afternoon I wasn't hungry and I was feeling less concerned about it and going about my normal chores. All of a sudden I started feeling hot and stared sweating, I went to the bathroom took some cold shower and came out but I was still sweating profusely, thank God hubby was around and he said he doesnt understand this type of sweat. He went and put the generator for me and directed the standing fan to me and advised me to lie down, I couldn't even stay up to a minute I got up and started walking about the whole house cos I was so restless and I didn't know what was happening to me. He started asking me what's the problem and I told him am hungry and I want to eat eba, how the young man managed to defrost the soup so quick and make eba before 5 minutes I dont know but before he finished making the eba I saw myself almost finishing 350 naira bread with two cups of milk and one small bottle water. Immediately he brought the eba I jumped on it and within 2 minutes I finished a whole plate of eba, he was just standing looking at me, I washed my hands thereafter and slept till God knows when. My dear since then I don't let myself go hungry again instead I snack in between meals.

Is UNTH and ESUTH too far from you? Teaching hospital is best for delicate cases but if too far, ask mothers around you for a standard hospital that can monitor and care for you especially cos of your past history. If na Lagos, we will recommend General hospital but it's like those in East hate General hospitals . Maybe you mention your area so Enugu mamas can help more.
Above all, hold on to your God.

In the meantime, you can go for scan by yourself in an independent lab. Take the result to your doc or let the lab technician /radiologist interprete for you there and then or bring it to mamas here. By now, heartbeat should be seen etc. Take care.

my sister, the night vigil is real o . i top up my water every now and then in the night and it increased my visit to the toilet too . I am starting to think baby mistakes night for morning in the womb .lol

Pumpkin leaves and unripe plantain can also boost it, that’s what I used to boost mine.

Prudify25 if you're close to Emene, I would recommend Annuciation Hospital.

Did they take your blood at your booking appointment? If yes ask for your results, and what tests they ran. Do they check your urine at each antenatal? If yes ask for your results

We need to take ownership of our bodies and pregnancies, if you ask for explanation and the doctor cannot give you please change your hospital
