Wow

This is disturbing tho

Battery Depreciation is a major issue

But unfortunately this complaint will be covered up like the rest. Later when this complaint is being referred to. People will claim ignorance.

The battery is like the foundation of any portable device. If the battery discharges on it's own overnight . It will likely be a hardware issue not software.

Btw I love your photos on the camera thread. Hopefully you can Carry your power bank along whilst taking more photos. Until Xiaomi is able to resolve their "PERFECT UI".

There must be something going on with the updates, for two weeks I've been having this problem on my note 4, during the day it was dropping around 12% per hour even when not in use, then the screen would not turn itself off automatically after 30 seconds as set. This week, it has come back to normal, no idea what was happening
And during this time I'd wake up in the morning with my battery hot as hell

At some certain point major updates like this ought to be stopped for the older models. I read someone's comment that he was unable to use ambient lighting because his phone is the older model. Why will they allow such a feature to be there in the first place if it can not be used.

The update has issues,
In this case Infinix and Tecno would have allowed you to downgrade. But let's hope they try to release an update that will rectify this bug

It's too bad bro. Too bad. If it helps massages their egos, then all the best to them but I'll be here to puncture their stupid overbloated egos.

And here you go adding fire... Calling people out and still exhibiting same tendencies

Also, if you upload your ID and utility bill, it will be upgraded to a regular savings account. That lite will be out of it.

Good morning peeps. I need your advice on dis. Am planning on buying either a redmi 7 or 8 in December but am a bit confused as to which to go for. My main issues are d areas of battery life n performance. Since redmi 7 has a beta processor than 8 n redmi 8 has a beta battery life than 7. Been using a Nokia Lumia for 5 years now but they are shutting down in December. Am not a heavy phone user, as long as I can browse an app one at a time n play games to a reasonable extend am good. Am not a camera freak either. Would welcome suggestions since d price difference isn't dat much. Thanks
From your description I'll advise you strongly to get a redmi 8. The processor is a downgrade yes, but not to that massive an extent as you think. It's a no brainer at its price point.

From your write-up, the Redmi 8 is perfect for you. I use a Redmi 7 and going by the way i use fones (just like you), Redmi 8 would serve me well.
