I think some will love to see this team lose today so that their criticisms of K.Nwakali and Azubuike will be justified.
For some, so that they can take their "Crucify Imama" campaigns further. I wonder... Can't people just look beyond these debates and just stand with the team in that very moment they are in action??

It seems winning arguments is more important to some here than the team winning.

I didnt imply that either. But we look to the top leagues first when we are trying to get players, dont we? What I’m saying in a nutshell is the championship is not an average second tier. Gerrit?

Yiu will just be yapping because Iorfa was mentioned.

My point is that because you are doing well in the championship doesn’t guarantee you will do well in the eagles ,don’t praise the championship but praise the player

No go dey do like komekn ,if an Epl ,laliga ,Seria A player can flop in the national team then anyone can flop

you have a point. been inactive for sometime have been evident in his display in the game. he looks rusty and slow
tbaba1234:
The only excuse, i can give Nwakali is that he is not fully match fit given his inactivity

Same people who told us about Nigeria going down, were, also the people who reported that we've equalised. Those people are the people seeing the match live, don't act like everybody is against the team

O boy I know some that reported Zambia scored and stayed away when we equalized. Anyways it doesn't matter. What matters now is we should win this game.

Your observations have been blinded by strong bias against those two players and I know why. Your views on them on this thread is very much noted so your observation is obviously faulty.

Enjoy the rest of the game. Madam. wink

oga abi madam i no follow u dey watch ball with sentiment or targeting a particular player for criticism. both have been piss poor from my observation so far in the game.

no dey talk side talk, i have to be plain with you that this team is nothing to write home about and it will be a huge achievement if they qualify for the olympics.

i have nothing against azubuike and nwakali but both have been below par in the game so far and am blunt about it

komekn:

Dominic Iorfa made a commitment to play for Nigeria in late 2016. In March 2017 Rohr visited him and his position was reiterated he was then a first team regular at Wolves. Promises were made by Rohr but to date No call up or invitation from the NFF.

WHY ❓ never ending speculation.

When Mono took over as Manager he moved him to CB his actual preferred position. Currently Wednesday have one of the best defensive records in the Championship with much credit given to Dominic.

Wow. That's cool

I refer to my personal proposition statement for quality.

"Its better to be a Lion in a lower league and club than an anonymous mouse in a top club and league".

Nonetheless, the quality of the league and club.still matters and has an impact on players true quality, but everything in context.

Did anybody believe that Rangers would beat Porto or Celtic beat Lazio. But the quality of players showed the gulf is not reflective of league.

In addition the nature of some leagues means that players from those league will cope better in certain situations. For instance a player who has played in championship will not be faxewf by the physicality of AFCON.

However, some players who have been pampered with pretty technical football may indeed struggle.

I remember when Yobo left Fenerbache to play at Norwich. He admitted the slow pace and limited quality of the Turkish league had made his..loose his sharpness.

You only picked on Kelechi and Azubuike. That is all you have been doing and saying for the better part of the first half. If you want to talk about the team, do it... But no ... Na only Nwakali and Zubby you see.

We don't have players in the top clubs, most of our players are currently average so any player coming from even the league one in England is welcome as long as he is one of the best in league one.

The point is, if you are a stand out player in the championship, you have demonatrated quality. Of course even a Barca player can flop. I don’t get the point u are making.

Please tell him.

Now If we consider things by comparison our best Midfielder arguably is Etebo.

Meanwhile the said Etebo is way behind Eze and Ovie in terms of quality and consistency in the Championship.

Imagine then if those two were in the SE.

Aribo has proven it beyond all doubt because he was essentially a league one player before he came to the SE.

Now he is one of the first names on the team sheet.
