[quote author=Thegamingorca post=83977297] Whether you booked for someone or the person booked for you and got date. You cannot interpret the November 1st clause however you deem fit because it was not explicitly stated there that it is only at AD your proof of funds will be needed. Someone stated a while back that the consulate are trying to enforce reviewing options of providing proof of BA before getting dates which necessitated amikable97's point that yes the clause can justify that move by the embassy and you are here posting pic. I say and I repeat that that clause is an open statement and does not limit showing proof of funds to only on AD day. Someone stated a while back that you will need to write ielts lol this is a case of a "not given" answer for ielts reading passage. It was not given that the proof of funds must only be presented at AD, period that is my point. The truth is that the statement could mean that you will be needed to provide proof of BA at both registering for a date and at AD. Even the fact that its a requirement for making a fresh appointment and not only highlighted on the things to come with to the embassy AD date gives credence to that fact. No one is saying you won't be asked again on AD to show proof of funds but that none of your proofs or your friends personal experiences can justify that statement as being solely for on AD day. How is that difficult to understand? Maybe nnamdi should speak it in igbo for you. Maybe you love how this paucity affected you during winter and made you loose 6 admissions, the embassy no really send you at all sha.[/quote Guy..u get big problem 4 Likes |

Betterlife30: Yes I agree, very true. But instead of proof of fully funded block account, I will rather say we show proof of acceptance to the school, AL to book for an appointment date then the interview proper we show the proof of fully funded blocked account. I feel people book for appointment and get the appointment and still don't get admitted by any University, and they don't cancel the appointment so someone else can have that date. Therefore, they don't show up at the embassy for their interview because no AL. So the AD becomes a waste. Just a thought. |

shinene2020: If it is winter admission your seeking I'm sorry to break it to you that issuing AD for winter applicants has stopped, you can cancel and reboot though only if you have enrolment extension and a letter explicitly specifying that you can resume at a later date and you will be admitted into the school and the date was clearly stated there. If not, OYO... if you can get a deferred admission to summer from your school that will be the best thing for you as applications for summer AD has started earnestly.... 1 Like |

My decision to travel to Germany came late this year. So, I'm looking forward to winter 2020, I have funds already but can't apply for winter 2020 courses right now. Is there a period the applications become open for winter 2020? 1 Like |

onecoder: Some schools with direct application have already opened their application window. Except those that require uni-assist. I advice you start arranging the necessary documents and browsing/researching on the schools you would like to apply to Cheers 1 Like |

guys please someone told me here that if you apply for a course in MSc different from your BSc course that the embassy is more likely to deny you VISA . I want to know how true this is cos I want to change from Petroleum Engineering to Process or renewable. |
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by OdiEma(m): 9:19am On Nov 13, 2019 |
Mercy95: Message the course coordinator. I did and got a favorable reply... Not on same issue. I was told I could scan and send the missing document to the school directly before a given date. So you should try that |

Gbambor: If you can defend the reason why you are changing from Petroleum Engineering to processor renewable. I don't think you will have a problem. My humble submission |

This was the same thing I heard applicants under category A get AD within 48hrs of booking. The delay is majorly experienced by applicants under category B. GabeLegendary: |

I am working on schools for masters,so I don't really know schools for undergraduate studies. You can go to www.daad.de. You will see more than enough schools there trust me. Mikeval001: |

I've been able to find these schools to fit for my course MSc Chemistry. 1. Please do we have any current student or aspirant of the following schools? Indicate 2. Anyone with information about the Schools and the cities; cost of studies, possibility of jobs, cost of living and any other info that could be useful, please share. Though I read about them on daad.de, but still wish to hear from people's experiences and ideas about them. 3. Does anyone know of Schools in Frankfurt and Cologne that offer the course? I couldn't get any on Daad.de *FAU Erlangen-Nümberg *Freie Universität Berlin *University of Siegen *Ruhr Universität Bochum. 1 Like |

No it was be stated but you and I know you did the booking on their booking platform so expect them to have the information you filled when you were booking the appointment. Below is the content of the mail you will get from the embassy when you book an appointment "Your registration to apply for a long term visa (more than 90 days) for students of the category B has been successful" "With a wrongly booked visa category you will not get access to the visa section" annie17: |
