You know you mentioned about decapitation when Zenith was falling and that the herd effect will set in (similar to Janet analogy). Thought you were waiting for it(Janet) when it was trading at 16+. grin

Gradually we dey see as una dey take enter.

You of all people know that there are stages in this market.

There will be a period, I will buy zenith for N24 hoping to sell at N27 and make my 10%.

Life na turn by turn and in stages.

When zenith was trading at N19, you never saw it coming down to N16 and likewise what happened in GTB. For now, I will even be more interested in UBA than Zenith. I forsee overhead effect in Zenith. I could be wrong though.

Like I said, let us all play the market how we best deem it.

Shalom.

It's all about season for me. There will be a time I will buy UBA or Zenith and wait it out for a 60% gain.

Buyers are prepare for the seller in zenith, they are saying bring it on, we are ready for you. Over 310 million sold.

You may want to go back to the behaviour of Access during the last general bull...

Buyers will never be ready for those guys. They have more than enough to go round cheesy

So this Zenith that was tagged "baba go-slow" is now the beautiful bride as Access and UBA are said to be drinking water.

Indeed life na turn by turn really.

Dear I disagree with you on the bolded because the Obu and CCNN deal is more like the Access and Diamond deal. One share of Obu Cement is valued at N35.11 and the over 13 Billion share that will alloted to CCNN shareholders will rank pari passu.

Again the building Material industry in every country is encouraged/favoured by the government unlike the breweries industry that is over taxed.

this valuation (if true) is independent of the merger. The question is - what will be the dilutive effect of CCNN be on he resultant Obu cement?

CCNN EPS was relatively ok pre merger with Kalambaina. What is the story now? Now this!

Don't wanna feel sorry later. Afterall I got in @ #5ish

Will 18 months work? Considering there will be April - October within that period.

I'm not talking about the EPS or the dilution I'm talking about buying CCNN at the current price and selling it as Obu at N35 or there about by January.

It was actually 5.01 on 15/11/2011
our holding period for any good stock is forever, unless in situations like this ...
I have this feeling Alhaji Rabiu wants more choke hold on CCNN+Kalambaina+Obu. It doesn't appear he is minority investor friendly like Aliko

My brother, obu is not buying CCNN at N35. The N35 that was quoted was from cardinalstone. They arrived at that figure based on their analysis just like CP will analyse a stock and give his opinion on fair price.......

The shares exchange ratio was very faulty, they succeeded in cheating holders of CCNN shares. Similar thing will happen with Obu

I bought CCNN from N4.50k to N11 naira and I exited when I was convinced there was no more value in it again with rising price.
Rabiu is angling to move up in the Forbes list of billionaire, he will climb up on some people head.....capitalism at its best/worst cool
