guys please someone told me here that if you apply for a course in MSc different from your BSc course that the embassy is more likely to deny you VISA . I want to know how true this is cos I want to change from Petroleum Engineering to Process or renewable.

That's not a problem. I studied petroleum Engineering as my Bsc.
Now enrolled in Processing Engineering. Hsbremerhaven

You need to cancel the booking and rebook another appointment, this is according to the latest directive on the German embassy booking platform. You can visit the booking platform to read the directive yourself.

Some schools with direct application have already opened their application window. Except those that require uni-assist. I advice you start arranging the necessary documents and browsing/researching on the schools you would like to apply to

Cheers

Please cancel and rebook for AD as soon as possible. Your booking for Sept. 15 may no longer be valid. It was stated the booking system was reset on Oct. 1.

Best wishes

your question is confusing but I understand very well first of all, if your sponsor want to apply for SL depend on the state he is residing in Germany the Alien office will ask him or her to produce your international passport copy , your home address and your Course start date only depending on his state of residence for example Munich will check if he is eligible and he will fill a form and put all your Info passport info, your home address in Nigeria and your course start date that's all, each state have there own requirements, some state ask for admission letter while some don't and the processing fee is just 29euro only no more no less Munich issue SL in just 20minutes if your sponsor is eligible and don't forget to. READ THIS INFO ........................tell your sponsor to tick this in the remark area on your SL document. Quoting a post by Immafrank
This should help you.

Most people still don’t know how this letter works. Apart from the embassy and your intended alien office doing their verification, you must also make sure the important details on your SL are okay. If you are here and you are using SL. Before you have your original SL sent to you, make sure you request for a scanned copy and cross check your details that it is correct, check that the purpose of stay is fur studium.

nachgewiesen must be ticked. nachgewiesen means the sponsor has successfully demonstrated and that he/she has met all requirements to stand as your sponsor.

In some cities like Stuttgart, Rastatt, they tick both nachgewiesen and glaubhaft gemacht while in some cities like München, they only tick nachgewiesen. nachgewiesen is very important.

I once saw SL where nicht nachgewiesen was ticked. It was straight rejection.
So contact your sponsor and let the office the letter came out from make the correction.

The double standard

I know about that cos justwise created a thread about that, I'm just saying if he could be supporting ppl to go to English speaking countries like UK where integrating is far less guaranteed with previous history of sending exit mails from their country on the day you finish exam then he shouldn't be pointing fingers at Germany.

Can I get the link to the thread please?

Maybe we shoukd let the embassy know about the date issue here, so that we won't be a victim of what the winter applicants in Category B faced.

A call through won't be a bad idea.

Good evening,

If you are confused why not read the thread from page 1 as it's the wise thing to do.. This thread is currently on page 500 you should presume that a lot of information must have been disseminated....

Please read and research. In short time you will become adviser..

Hello house, I'm glad I found this thread. My question, I'm applying for an M.sc program for this Summer application but in all honesty my choice course won't be available until Winter. But I was advised by someone living there, to proceed until reaching there register as a student but later apply for choice course. With aim to have proper time to work, settle in, adjust, catch up on language before my proper Winter program starts. I'm asking to know if it's possible to change course of study upon reaching DE? I don't want to get there and be stuck with this Summer course cos I just want to use it as a getaway. N.B: Chances of getting admission for my Winter course is high cos I intend applying for 2-3 schools.

Secondly, someone told me to forget my relationship especially without marriage in place Like seriously, can this be true? Anyone going to Germany with a fiancee in Nigeria should forget about it happening? Please you little bits in clearing these doubts would go a long way. **N.B fiancee is a good stylist (tailoring) which I believe is could possibly be lucrative over there since it's a skill.

Any reliable answer would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

Unlike some other countries, Germany does not recognise even de facto relationship let alone fiancee. It has got to be proper marriage. A1 proficiency in German is a requirement for the spouse.

Read family reunion section on their website. Please go to the official website.
