I waited to watch the match and just as it started I turned off my TV as I can't figure it out. How can such amateurs handle camera? Why will I stress myself to figure out what I am watching? For heaven's sake, NTA cannot tell me that they are poorly funded. Even if we had Supersport, it still doesn't stop them from broadcasting matches or preparing for emergencies such as the sort that arose from the issue between CAF and SuperSport.

They are making it seem like they were just told today that they would broadcast a match. EFCC and ICPC need to pounce on the DG of NTA and his assistants. They must be made to account for all the monies allocated to them.

As for the commentator, technology has made learning very easy. You can't run commentaries without up-to-date information. Know the players, at least basic info about them, so that you are not constantly referring to them by their shirt numbers. It is not so hard to do your own bit of findings. And learn from the masters. You don't have to learn their accents or all that, but just learn how they run commentaries. Go read about them, especially about how they prepare for a match.

It is not so hard to aid one's personal development.
