See ehn... "Connection" and "quota system" will kill this nation las las... So, out of a pool of young graduates, radio broadcast personnel, etc, this idiot was the best they could come up with as a commentator??!.. Imagine how my foreign friends are smirking and making fun now... I even feel like rejecting my citizenship. This was how we used this same flawed system to pick U-17 players... See how they brought shame at the tournament... NTA is one of the oldest and well known stations in Africa, yet no improvement in quality, standard, etc... Fact is, the NTA I watched in secondary school is far better than the trash I saw today. Maybe, this nation gained independence too early... I can't understand this level of retrogression. 13 Likes

I waited to watch the match and just as it started I turned off my TV as I can't figure it out. How can such amateurs handle camera? Why will I stress myself to figure out what I am watching? Ball is in front and camera is focused on the players running from behind or ball is ongoing the camera will be on fans. Nawao |

For heaven's sake, NTA cannot tell me that they are poorly funded. Even if we had Supersport, it still doesn't stop them from broadcasting matches or preparing for emergencies such as the sort that arose from the issue between CAF and SuperSport. They are making it seem like they were just told today that they would broadcast a match. EFCC and ICPC need to pounce on the DG of NTA and his assistants. They must be made to account for all the monies allocated to them. As for the commentator, technology has made learning very easy. You can't run commentaries without up-to-date information. Know the players, at least basic info about them, so that you are not constantly referring to them by their shirt numbers. It is not so hard to do your own bit of findings. And learn from the masters. You don't have to learn their accents or all that, but just learn how they run commentaries. Go read about them, especially about how they prepare for a match. It is not so hard to aid one's personal development. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Iamgrey5: The likes of budaatum still think Nigeria is progressing under buhari. In fact, he thinks buhari is the best thing after sliced bread. And when I prayed for him that God will handle his life and destiny the same way buhari handles nigeria's economy and security, he refused to say amen. In fact, he saw it as a curse. 2 Likes |

NTA should be ashamed of themselves for the show of imcompetenev dey displayed today ...let's forget about Nigeria not been good or something....there level of professionalisn should be questioned and wat the hell do dey do or go for training for if they can't televise and video a properly match......it shows how poor everything in the nation is turning out.....about the game....it wasn't really bad. .the issue Rohr must access now is finding a competitor for some roles where there seem to be any completion... 1) Iwobis role .....he needs someone to compete with his a good player but the way he goes missing at some point in matches is a concern and also giving out misplaced passes...if we want to always be the team to dictate play like we look...then we need someone better in that role to look like world class 2) Osinmehn also needs a competitor ..his doing averagely well but natural not a goal scorer to me....or let mW say he hasn't metamorphosize into DAT in the Nigerian shirt...as much as we need to be patient with him...we need someone to give him a stern competition... "aside that tall for nting guy we took to Afcon" All in all Nigeria has a decent quality....wat our defence needs is a better understanding of each other... 1 Like |
