My fellow nairalanders I am here to seek your advice, I am presently working as an administrative assistant and my salary is fifty thousand naira only (50,000) but as it is now the standard of living in Lagos is very high, I can't get married and build a family with 50,000. I have saved up 600,000, please what business can I start up in lagos with that amount? A friend suggested opening a Bet 9ja betting centre that he makes up to 100k weekly, please I need more suggestions please. Don't quit your job....  I won't advice you to concentrate all your capital on one venture. Try and diversify (several petty businesses like mini kiosk, Re-selling recharge cards, get a used okada and give to some to ride on ur behalf while they make daily / weekly deliveries, Bet9ja etc... ). Sincerely Make your savings get to 1 million naira then you can think of something more better.. You can still go ahead with the bet9ja shop roughly that will cost you like 250-300k rent of shop inclusive. NOC1: give me the the 1 million To OP, I think you should just keep saving, when it gets to #1.5 million... settle down WITH A PEACEFUL AND SUPPORTIVE WIFE who you both can build something together, I tell you there is Power in the right woman, never underestimate a good woman, that's why the Bible connects "finding a wife to favor from God ". Sometimes not everything people do should be done also, dont nececessarily start looking for a business to invest in because other people are doing that, all it takes in this life is wisdom...
