install a CCTV and monitor number of cars with his phone

1) camera will have to be solar powered .[they exist]
2) he will have to have reliable wifi/network on site
3) both must be tamper proof /or he will have to have a support guy thatcannot be corrupted by the staff
4) how do you balance your job with monitoring your business? will you be checking phone every 15 minutes? how do you intervene if you see your staff doing wayo?

Maybe your friend makes 100K/wk.... but where is his location?...where will be yours? Maybe not... ask him to open a branch since it is so lucrative... and he can pay you just 25K/week to manage it. I can guarantee you he wouldn't agree.
What kind of business depends on your location.... what is in demand there.... the people spending power. Need more info.

Hmm.
So, we should become nerds for you merely because you have a little above 1m in your account?
Bobo, chill.
That 1m is weekend bubbly expense

But, if you are pretty sincere about knowing what to do with your 1m+, get off social media and walk around your community to see what needs exist.
Supplying water may be all you need to do. Draining water may be the other way around.

Swallow your huge pride on your little money and learn from yourself.
I dont he meant it the way you have put it. Context.

For instance I came on this thread because I have also been thinking of what I can invest 6 million on that can yield me 300k a month from the 4th month of starting and when I saw this thread first thing that came to my mind is - unserious people will be plenty here. The truth is nairaland is full of kids.

Keep saving guy. Don't rush into a business because if your rush in, you will rush out. You need to learn a skill or develop a skill first in line with your passion. What do you like doing? What is your profession, your calling? Are you into fashion, engineering, web development, programming, networking, marketing, furniture, graphics designer, Arts, Farming(fish, pig, dogs, poultry).

You need to know what you love doing. Then learn more, acquire more technical knowledge on that field you have passion for. Approach a mentor who have made tremendous success in that chosen field. This will help you tremendously. You need an expert to guide you along the way before you set up the business.

My advise. Don't start anything now. Keep saving until you have acquired the skill and experience to venture into whatever it is you have passion for. Good luck.

Buy phones from UK or US and sell in Nigeria. You can make a lot of gain from it. I am based in US so i am very sure of it. It is something i do by the side...as an additional source of income.

Sincerely Make your savings get to 1 million naira then you can think of something more better.. You can still go ahead with the bet9ja shop roughly that will cost you like 250-300k rent of shop inclusive. Find a young person that's trustworthy and be paying him 10k from your 50k salary...i.e The earning from the shop goes directly to you and it boost your savings.
What happens to the winners of the betting? Abi na only you go dey chop the money.
