Why don't you do hire purchase of motorcycle or Marwa? Buy new at the rate of #215/#220k.. Find lawyer to bind the deal between you and the purchaser.. Let's say motorcycle purchaser delivers 2k daily.. That's #14k weekly.. 52 weeks makes a year.. #14K times 52 = #728k... Let's say u spend #100k on repairs which cannot even be up to that, Ur left with #628k.

That's what I do in ibadan, on my third motorcycle now..

I know how to ride bike(motocycle) but due to the fact that I
haven't been practicing it makes my shake whenever I'm
carrying someone.
soon I will be able to afford one (Boxer) through Monthly
contribution. The current price is about N216000 with other
miscellaneous expenses, it should rise to N250000.
the issue is that I don't know if I should put it up as higher
purchase or ride it myself because I'm teaching in a secondary
school at the moment with a pay of N20000.
please advise me on the better option because I'm not getting
any younger (I am a graduate; studied Engineering)

I pasted this somewhere on Nairaland already and also here cause I don't want to create new topic...any suggestions?

@Oracle55 bet shop is not noble. Instead, you can open a paga shop where you can recharge GoTv, electricity, etc
I have a neighbour who has like 10 of those shops and he's making his money in a cool way.

My fellow nairalanders I am here to seek your advice, I am presently working as an administrative assistant and my salary is fifty thousand naira only (50,000) but as it is now the standard of living in Lagos is very high, I can't get married and build a family with 50,000.

I have saved up 600,000, please what business can I start up in lagos with that amount?

A friend suggested opening a Bet 9ja betting centre that he makes up to 100k weekly, please I need more suggestions please.

Mod, help and push to front page for more suggestions thanks

What I did when I was at your level was to go back to my native city and buy land situated very close to a major road. Unlike Lagos, the land is still there untouched and the area is now developed.

Alternatively, you can invest it in tranches by purchasing treasury bill.

Since you are an administrative assistant, why can't you consider professional examination like ICSAN to boost your career in the nearest future too?

The best investment you can make is an investment in your mind; you need a solid financial foundation to build wealth.

I have much to say but no time.

Nice one bro, but why not expand your business to Rivers State and Delta.
I can help use my team to do the distribution for you.

I have a firm registered already with the CAC and one of our departments helps in expanding the markets to new products.
My team always delivers, they understand how to convince wholesalers and retailers to purchase products.

We have our work force in Rivers and Delta States respectively and I can assure you that your product will achieve an explosive growth in sales within a few period.

Telecommunication is taking over oil & gas industry in Nigeria. With tech & bank top- up acting as a threats, demand for paper or printed recharge cards is still impressively high. Don't lay your eggs in one basket. With quarter of the money you have saved, you can start printing of recharge cards of the major network e.g MTN, GLO, AIRTEL, 9MOBILE, of all denominations & distribute to retailers around you. Recharge cards is like food, you must recharge to call loved ones or data subscription, quick turnover & it doesn't get expired.
If interested to start, call me 07037234220 to help you install the updated universal recharge printing software & provide you the E-pins.
You will need these materials to start: laptop/desktop computer, printer(preferably laser jet), functional email address, internet connection & papers. You won't regret venturing into it.

For 600k yes. You have to decide on your risk appetite. An aunt just lost her entire gratuity to scammers. Over 20m. She could have been getting 2m per year from that money. Now it’s all gone. sad.
