Following the Nigerian Customs Service introduction of an online auction of seized cars in its custody, please I'd want to find out if anyone here has ever bought a car through that platform.

Please, I will want you to share your experience(s) using the service for others to learn.

Very great deal however, do not be desperate as that might lead you to over bidding. Also, budget extra 50k for removed parts and bribe. Sure legit that you must pay bribe for release of lots won. I purchased 5 suction lot from customs last year.
Get your TIN ready and updated. Either you chose btw GTB or Jaiz for wallet. I use both and i can tell you they are the fastest in terms of wallet payment. Over all, its a very good deal

2. Were you required to pay customs duty on any of the auctioned cars you bought?

I chose GTB but the whole thing was just strange to the staff on getting to the bank. They couldn't treat it .I later attempted changing to Jaiz but that seems impossible.

The platform is up but no auction since April or so.

You are not required to pay custom duty at all but like i wrote earlier, bribe is a sure thing.

The bid winning amount is the custom duty invariably.

Once you select a bank at registration, you cannot change. However, most bank staff do not know about the platform deeply but just simply inform them Custom trade portal. Account number is TIN you provided. Although its easier to do it yourself using internet banking platform. I hope it helps.
