Please admins I am not trying to break any rules, neither am I scam. I am just desparate. All claims herein are verifiable.

PLEASE HELP ME!
THIS IS A GENUINE PLEA FOR HELP.

HELP ME.
I am a student. I was referred to an investment platform by a close associate. I started with small investments and then gradually increased it when it looked trustworthy.

Meanwhile, I started taking loans from other students, and promised to return them, with interest.

At a point, things went south real fast, and it was from one story to another. All withdrawals cancelled, and we were asked to reinvest to withdraw old money.
Now, three months later, ALL my creditors have let loose on me, the most painful thing being that all of them trusted me because of my reputation.

Please, I need help. I have held it in for two long; I have done all I could do, I have tried to even borrow to invest and release funds, but my reputation is already ruined; no one wants to lend me money. The stigma has even made me unable to do school work. Our just concluded exams was a mess, but that is secondary.

Even if I could get people to lend me money, it would take months before I could retrieve the over 700k in my account.

This afternoon, I was summoned to my school's security office where I had to sign that I will pay one particular person before Friday.

Tomorrow, another person's reputation will be ruined because of my decision - she used money other students placed in her custody to give me as a loan, all because of trust.

She has been calling, texting, crying, I don't even know what to do. If suicide will solve the problem, it's not now I thought of it. But it can't solve anything.

All my claims are verifiable. I currently have at least five agreements duly stamped by the court for different people, granting them to take whatever means necessary to retrieve their money.

Please help me. I am the first child of my parents, and though not the breadwinner, I am taking care of two of my siblings staying with me. My parents are both advanced in age, and this will break them.

I need help, I admit it. I am a charity case.
I need help. Anything laid in your heart, please take urgent action. I beg. I beg you in the name of whoever or whatever touches your heart.
PLEASE HELP ME! I DON'T EVEN HAVE 24 hours. I can't sleep. I just woke from a troubled sleep. This is almost 3am as I type.

My thoughts are scattered as I type, Nairaland community help me. Anything you can comfortably spare. I have to raise over 800 thousand naira, but even your five hundred naira means a lot to me.

The Tom and Jerry thing u mentioned is funny though. grin grin grin

On a side note, I will strongly advise u consider buying into the latter stock(u highlighted in one of ur post up there) and G** as soon as u see any slight pull back in them.
Also consider seriously the 8 of FC**, FI******, CA******, A****, U***, W****, FL******* and F****
...their rally shall most probably be pacy.
For similar reasons to when I advised a higher portfolio weighting in ACCESS than UBA, I also prefer a higher weighting in the 1st than the 2nd.
I love all 8 coys though !!

Oga OGG, Good morning to you. Is this your new way of recommending stocks? making money here is becoming more difficult oooooo. But come to think of it, who are those that are still buying stocks here? This period is harvesting time oooooo. If you have the cash to still invest, I do not think the cash will cry if you refuse to invest it. I cannot really see what has changed with the stocks except that we all hope the excess liquidity from OMO and NTBs will flow into the equities.

But if they are selling Zenith to key into others, am yet to see all the huge cash flow across. Sales in Zenith is already in excess of #20B.

As per Access, it's looking more or less like a P&grin. They come in from 1pm to keep the tempo of bull-like market. Any afternoon they fail to come, na that day breeze go show fowl yarsh.

We keep watching though. We go all make the money finally.

If you have the cash to still invest, I do not think the cash will cry if you refuse to invest it. I cannot really see what has changed with the stocks except that we all hope the excess liquidity from OMO and NTBs will flow into the equities.

The thing that has changed is the shutting out of OMO and fall of rate at NTB

People should be careful of this thing cos its like admnistering a steriod / morphine, it wld eventually wear off

moreso a lot of the local institutional investors in the OMO space (shutout) wld gladly still take the 10% being offered at the NTB instead of equities.

so the ACTUAL effect in the equities space wont be as much as d figures (>1 trillion) being bandied so pple shld not get carried away (max of 10 - 20% of the fund dat were forbided from coming back to OMO wld flow here cos d rate on NTB though down is still tidy)

As for the NTB/365 itself which seems to be the new ANCHOR in town i dont see it going below upper single digit (8-10) because of structural constraint (local economy constraint / impact on FX windows which the issuer CBN/FGN is very sensitive of) and also international constraint (G8 rate movement e.t.c).

So my take is that recent happenings had drawn a clear bottom / resistance on the down trend of the last two years but there is nothing out there yet for a NASA like take off of the equity market, what we wld have at best (with the current impetus) is some few steps away from the bottom

Access bank directors that sold their shares in the wake of the merger to Diamond must buy back those shares. For short-timers in Access Bank, I must congratulate them. What is not lost on me is that Access bank came in to rescue CBN from another intervention in the banking sector which really would have dent CBNs image as a regulator and probably call to question its role in ensuring that Banks under its supervisory watch are healthy. Access bank is going to get away with a lot of supervisory issues as it payback time for them too. I am not saying Access Bank is not healthy oooo but I need results of many quarters to assess the quality of its assets going forward. The diamond that was problematic all of a sudden turned to goldmine because Access Bank took over. Who is selling Zenith bank to buy any other stock on the exchange at this moment has a problem of cash to meet emergencies and not to invest in other stocks on the exchange.

If I have money, PZ is looking like a stock to begin to accumulate because I believe it is becoming a strong candidate for delisting the lower it goes.

You know there's no "Jerry" without a "Tom".

Let me go and consult Ifa on Zenith Bank. Ifa must disclose the identity offloading Zenith bank. Na UBA I wan marry shaa. Waiting for double bottom to form.

You could have seen the pattern of the entity selling.

I doubt he still has anything in his bag to sell. Because there was more than enough volume for him/her/it to suck up but did not.

And at 3pm, if market had been going flat or down, there is a group(s) that comes buying. Always watch that space.

Soon people will understand the reason for this quote;

"For this reason and a bit more(including their present technical stance), I will advise a higher portfolio weighting in ACCESS than UBA.(in view of their near mkt price, a 70-30 or 60-40 % weighting won't be a bad idea)
It's all about risk-return. ...which is where an investors likely ROI is weighed !!

On a side note; For near same reason, i'll also prefer to attach a similar weighting to ZENITH ahead of GTB and FCMB ahead of FIDELITY @ their present market prices.
...but that's just me."

THE CURRENT 'TRAVAILS' OF PZ NIG PLC !!

A few days ago, I told some folks that I'd rather accumulate more UACN than PZ, given their current market prices.
Well, PZ just released its Q1 2019/2020 result with a material gap down accross all KEY revenue and earnings line.

Key highlights:

• Contracting margins(PBT & NET MARGIN in view) following the offset of stiffer competition from lower price points.
...with PAT MARGIN declining by near an alarming 436% printing a LOSS of over N1.1B in the period under review.
But for the zero tax expense(which it currently enjoys via a tax exempt relief) the loss position would've been far higher.

• Decelerating revenue(despite a relatively stable price regime) following a visible struggle for volume push.

• Though the coys QUICK RATIO of 0.6 smacks off a heathy short term liquidity stance, its CURRENT RATIO peg of 1.6 shows that something is just not right with PZ earnings drive.
...3 things are at play here:

1st off, it suggest that the company has been struggling to squeeze out earnings from its longer duration current asset play.
On that line, inventory position has been gulping up... reflective in the poor inventory turnover.
Elsewhere, the coy is also not getting any positive offset of value from its prepaid expense. Again, reflective in the worrisome A/C receivable turnover.
The struggle for sales margin(given higher inventory and lower receivables) has forced management to allow for more repayment period to debtors by over a 1/2 in the last 2 yrs.
Both lines have resulted in the difficulty with building higher net income from gross revenue.

By the way, the CURRENT RATIO peg of 1.6 means that for every N10 of current liability in its book, the company will require approx N16 of current asset to settle it.
Put differently, PZ currently expands 60% more for its near term obligations/liabilities than it earns over the same period.
A strong case for the view that the company is presently working more for its creditors and far less for its shareholders.

• The company has'nt managed to optimize cost(cost savings accruals in view).
...save for the gains from a lower admin expense by circa 2350bps(the resultant effect of lower vol drive occasioned by higher inventory from weaker sales and a possible downsizing of its workforce) all KEY cost line(CoS, opex margin) inched up.

• On the profitability/earnings front, the group lost 23k more than it did just 3 months ago.
Elsewhere, EM, ROAE, ROAA, RoIC, AsQ and AsY all pointed downwards, with some printing negative figures.

• Though the coys OHLSONS O-SCORE shows that there is no immediate worry of default(distress risk in view), its ALTMAN Z-SCORE points to a higher credit risk weighting with a far less value drive behind the current price.
To further lend credence to that, the coys PIOTROSKI F-SCORE suggest a value trap !!(value behind the price in view)

Using a combination of certain key valuation model at an assumed same relative growth rate with Q1, and adjusting for a sufficient risk premium(taking into a/c near term surrounding impact), I have FVE of N4.29(@ the point when likely reward would overtake risk)
...which translates to a sell given current market price.

This is what i'll do if I hold a position in the coy. ...especially if my strategic play with it does not fit into a long term plan.
...but that's just me.

DISCLAIMER: The views expressed in this analysis was drawn from PZ' latest financial print.
The interpretation therefore should only be that of a view, and NOT a recommendation.

My advice: Do well to follow ur instinct.

On a side note, certain financial variants are pointing to the plausibility that this coy might turn out to be a take over candidate in future.(perhaps the CONTINENTAL RE or NEWREST ASL style)
It's important to note that minority shareholders hold just a minot approx 229M units out of just over 26.7% of the coys OS held with several investors.
The parent company, PZ CUSSONS UK LTD holds the balance of over 73.2% stake.

Salah.

Inherent RISK is gradually been 'swallowed' by feasible REWARD.

NOTE: Due diligence still applies.
