KennethBest: Welcome to the thread, I hope you will find your stay here very educating and rewarding. With regards to your questions, you can't secure a scholarship in any of the Canada's DLI with an undergraduate CGPA of 3.17. Please be guided that the minimum requirement for a master's program in Canada is 2.1, which yours is below the threshold. Thus, your spotting chance of gaining an admission is to apply for a post graduate diploma program in a program that is closely related to your area of specialization. Please Refer to - Conestoga College for her Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness program. It shall end in praises. 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Frankrobbn1: 1:23pm On Nov 14, 2019 |
IfeoluwaPelumi7: Q1 - Since you don't have substantial amount of money in your bank account and considering the fact that you're being sponsored, you don't necessarily need to include your statement. Unless on the account that you've been working for over the years (let say 4-9yrs now), then including your personal statement is very vital in your application. Q2- Ways to prove ties have been explained in my previous post on this thread. PLEASE REFER TO MY POST. It shall end in praises 2 Likes |

IfeoluwaPelumi7: Don't include your statement if you don't have considerable funds in it. Not including one doesn't stop the visa officer from granting you a visa to Canada. Amen! Thanks for the compliments and best wishes. It shall end in praises. 1 Like |

This is not entirely true, what I have observed about this study pemit application is just the grace of God.. So many peeps have put up the right and tight Documents for their application, and they still got refused... In case you dnt knw, Canada have the quota of intentional students they bring in yearly, and I wont be wrong if I assume they have Quotas for all countries too... We have seen several peeps here without submitting either SOP or LOE and they got their Visas,In my over 2 years on this thread I have personally seen someone on this thread with 1Knaira balance in his SOA getting his Visa.. So bro its not about right document or not, its just the grace of God and also this people have their QUOTA for the year... Be informed... Peace Ubah007: 5 Likes |

ChidimmaP: There is nothing a pen and water coined with broad ideas can not fix. However, the second company position seems more suitable. The embassy will surely see what they want, especially if there isn't correlation or a convincing show of progression. Any which of the company you decide to use must have a substantial backing of proof. 1 Like |

Good Afternoon All. I just recieved a refusal for my study permit based on home ties and purpose of visit. Here are the details of all the documents I submitted. Undergrad Degree certificate (First Class, Electrical & Electronics Engr, 2016) Transcripts MEng Admission Letter from a Uni in Canada (course of study: Electrical and Computer Engineering) Employment Letter (employed since 2017) Study Leave letter containing about 800k leave and passage allowance (for 2019 and 2020) and stipend of 70% of my monthly income that'll be paid to me every month while studying in Canada. It also states when I'm to resume work on completion of my masters programme. Personal SOA - 2.1 M Fixed deposit - 1.4M Pension SOA - 700K Marriage certificate Child's birth certificate Sponsor (Dad)- company's SOA - 30M Business Registration details (CAC and Tax receipts) Sponsors Support Letter Wife's consent letter for me to go study Police clearance cert Waec Cert I will probably be applying again, but I need help on two things. 1. The admission letter I used for this application now is only valid for winter 2020, I don't know if it can be deferred, and if it can self, it might take some time, whereas, I have another admission letter from another Uni that is valid for Winter 2020, Summer 2020 and Fall 2020. Would you advise me to use this new one to re-apply? Would it affect my application in anyway if I use the new one? 2. My wife has a registered business and I forgot to submit the details of it plus the SOA, to show some sort of tie and that it might serve as funds for her while I'm away Please Gurus in the house make una help una boy... |

Hello FrankRobbn1, I want to appreciate you and all other wonderful contributors for your selfless service on this platform. The blessings allotted for givers shall surely locate you all in Jesus name, Amen. I have been following this thread quietly reading and learning from other people's experiences. I would love to travel with my Hubby and Son for my studies but I am not sure I have seen anybody who has attempted to travel with family. Do you think it is a possibility at all? Can you give some pointers on the relevant reasons to justify this intent? Thank you |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by librangyps(f): 6:51pm On Nov 14, 2019 |
xctvhz: I think I now believe what someone said earlier that the quota for this year is probably full, because you have progression career wise, that should settle purpose of visit, and for home ties you have a business, wife , kids... I will advise you let it rest this year and ask for deferral from this same school you applied with, only use the new school if deferral is not possible. Using another letter might show desperation. But use only if you have no choice. 2 Likes |

JustMellow: Thanks for your response. I have attached the CAC documents of both companies, my CV also shows my position in both companies. I also attached my leave letter, board resolution for leave of absence and appointment of alternate director with other directors , including me, signing the document. I hope this serves as a great proof However, I'm a bit nervous. Tho you've responded to me earlier regarding this, stating that it doesn't matter. I am 23yrs, left secondary school since 2012. And after 7 years, I'm going for a BSc. What other documents or how do I tighten my application to cover the gap in my last education? Some documents I felt are neccessary that I have: 1. Apprenticeship certificate for a training I had from 2012 to 2014 the training is related to the course I'm going to study 2. Two emplpyment letters for different places I've worked after the apprenticeship. The two jobs are inline with my course 3. CAC documents of the companies I founded after I left the last job How else or what else do I need to ... Lastly, as I'm not yet married, what documents do I need to submit to.show family ties.? Your response highly appreciated. Cc Frankrobbn1 |
