Abubakar Shekau has released a scathing condemnation on Maulud celebration in a 33 minute video recording. He argues, reading from his signature spiral bonded paper, that there is no evidence or consensus by clerics on when prophet Muhammad was born.

Is it news worthy:

The video is an evidence he is still holding out?

It is evident by the video that he is struggling with his eyesight.

It proves he is very idle going by his last 3 outings?

The poor video quality also shows the group has lost skills and equipments.

JUST IN: Another Dooms day for ISWAP in Mallam Fatori as own troops continue to annihilate them neutralizing 13 terrorists, same time recovering 187 rounds of Anti-aircraft Gun (belted) 2 AK47 Riffles, 80 round of GPMG, 4 AK47 magazine loaded with 30 rounds of 7.62mm among others recovered.
Regrettably, one soldier paid the supreme price while 4 other soldiers were wounded in action. The wounded soldiers are currently in a military medical facility and are positively responding to treatment.

Ask yourself, who in his right senses compares an Attack/Transport combo platform with Attack only platform?
It is not just about comparison tools, that guy Warthunder has no clue the basis for such comparison.

A Psychologist once told me (jokingly) that the problem of Nigerians isn't the quality of education but a genetic degradation that compromised their thinking ability, im beginning to take that joke seriously.

A grown arse man could have all the knowledge in the world but he lacks the ability to apply the same knowledge, what use is the knowledge anyways?

I became horrified when he brought in sales record in technical comparison.
sadly, loads of his likes felt cool with his position, that tells you he isn't alone in the sickness.

NAF kills ISWAP fighters, recover four gun trucks

The Nigerian Air Force has killed scores of Islamic State West African Province terrorists in the Mallam Fatori area of Lake Chad in Borno State, and demobilised four of their gun trucks.

According to the military, the ISWAP commanders were tracked by the Air Task Force of Operation Lafiya Dole and troops of the Nigerian Army, 89 and 97 Task Force Battalions of Sector 3 during a joint operation on Wednesday.

While the NAF aircraft provided close air support and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance platform, the troops engaged the terrorists, forcing them to retreat into the bushes....read more

I'm somehow grateful it all turned out like this. Hopefully an administration will come in and ask for a review of our Armor and just go ahead and buy 50+ bloody tanks!!

undecided The things we go through as Nigerians

I'm just going to throw this out here...... But do you guys really think tanks are necessary against an irregular force like Boko Harm?

You surely must have seen me argue about its need in the war against BH.

But still, we can't lose conventional capability because we fight a present unconventional foe

Hopefully it can be overhauled.Since (1) Most of our Engineers know the aircraft type
(2) The most damage was in the tail section of the Aircraft

Nice question you've asked here, just noticed the post.
In these type of war we need more of MRAPs/LAV and more of IFV in wheeled and tracked variant.
But has the arm of the military tasked with securing land/border and to defend their nation from external attack and deter or attack would-be enemies. The realization of this function primarily entails the preservation of the territory, people, culture and the national security of the nation. Therefore we will need such military assets, we shouldn't wait till it happens, if we be learnt our lessons from 2009 BH uprise
