The same Imama that tanked U20 was allowed to coach U23, what did anyone expect?

When half of the people that should be in the U23 are in Super Eagles, and a bunch of carpenters, farmers and Instagram Slay Kings were fielded as U23 players.

Honestly even before I joined this thread, I do describe Nigerian Players as average but I'm always being attacked for calling them average and not good enough but the results of our participation in championships and Qualifiers over the years have vindicated me seriously.

And please we need to stop the Nwakali hype, the boy is an average player. Same goes for Azubuike.

What is average? I believe you're being too generous with your diction. Classing those players as average is a big insult to other decent players classified as average

Someone that is speaking off point to back off his negativity for the super eagles

Smh

I don't see any prejudice and or bias but just plain speaking without frills.

Critical analysis has become HATRED.

What I find prevalent on this forum is a blatant double standard. When certain people myself included critic player who is Nigerian born and home grown it becomes NEVER ENDING HATRED.

When others in the say, "Hallelujah we follow blindly without reason camp", say the exact same thing, it's reasonable loving considerate appreciation.

I find the whole thing such a comedy.

Meanwhile it has happened...
First ever international trophy for MESSI and ARGENTINA since 1993 they last won Copa America.

It was a 1 : 0 Victory over BRAZIL in SAUDI ARABIA courtesy of the Goal scored by MESSI from a rebound after missing the initial penalty kick awarded Argentina taken by himself but saved by ALISON BECKER of BRAZIL.

Consolation for Nigerian MESSI Fans following today's dissappointment.

Only the Super Eagles has had a successful year 2019 with 3rd place. All the other national teams were poo.
Falcons were knocked out in the second round of WWC 2019
Flying Eagles also knocked out in second round of U20 WYC 2019
CHAN eagles did not even qualify for 2019 CHAN
Golden eaglets knocked out in the second round of U17 WYC 2019
Now, Olympic eagles knocked out in the qualifying stages of U23 AFCON olympics

Who did this to Nigeria?

I knew Barkley in 2013.....this was during an interview where he said he could play for Nigeria as well as England...

This was after Nigeria had won the nation's cup with Victor Moses who had played in the junior English teams being an inspiration for Barkley.

You said you knew Barkley Ok, Did you conduct the interview ❓ Because, what's the relevance of your statement " l knew Barkley in 2013"

Then your following statements tell us nothing of substance with regards to the interview.

Never watch anything because both of my Networks messed up yet again today such that I couldn't access nothing until now.

It's a pity that we shall be missing in the OLYMPICS soccer party finally.

Certainly, Today marks the end from the beginning for most of this Nigerian Players including those eligible that weren't invited.

Except for those that have already made the cut in the SUPER EAGLES.

I mean, why didn't they play their hearts out as if they wanna die on the pitch?

knowing fully well that it's about their personal glory first before credit would go to the coach?

Football is all about intelligence ooo. I Q. fast thinking in relation to the steps to be taken at every given opportunity within seconds and split second.

Does that mean all of them have no reasoning ability to just get a single goal all 90 minutes?

I rest my case.

oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.

Very unfortunate.
Hopefully we get it right next time

Seriously, a lot of things have to change in Nigeria football. So much corruption and lack of integrity. I am not too optimistic. How do you prevent coaches from getting influenced by agents and to do their jobs purely on merit?

And if we had qualified for the Olympics, these carpenters would have been rightly abandoned and actual footballers would have made it

It is well, at least I know say the ones wey go qualify no dey reach anywhere

Please forgive me but in all my studies l have not come across the word imbecilee is it French❓What does that mean.

I want to believe that you have not stooped to the level of gutter language and vitriolic rhetoric. And

I want to believe that within your many changing colours that you have changed and become civil and a gentleman or is that a COLOUR CHANGE too far for you.

The Dream Team crashed out of the U23 AFCON after posting a goalless draw with South Africa on Friday.

Allnigeriasoccer.com runs the rule over the players in action thus,

The Starters

Goalkeeper

Adamu Abubakar: Made a spectacular save to deny Kamohelo Mahlatsi in the first half and looked very composed in between the sticks. (7/10)

Defenders

Valentine Ozonwafor: Defended doggedly and left little to be desired of his exploits. Picked up an early booking for a foul, however. (6/10)

Anthony Izuchukwu: Was impressive in his aerial battles and matched Siyabonga Ngezana admirably for pace. (5/10)

Bitok Stephen: Went on a few unsuccessful forays and kept his discipline in a tough game. (5/10)

Seth Sincere: Started well with some incisive attacking moves in the first half but soon fizzled out as time wore on. (5/10)

Midfielders

Azubuike Okechukwu: Ventured forward very little today and concentrated mostly on keeping the spirited opponents at bay. (6/10)

Kelechi Nwakali: Tried to do a lot more than he could pull off though he showed his quality in patches. Saw yellow for a bad foul. (5/10)

Ndifreke Udo: Worked Darren Johnson with a good effort in the first half and was adept at combining with the attackers. (5/10)

Attackers

Orji Okonkwo: Okonkwo noticeably dropped deep much in the game which left the team short of some much needed attacking verve. Kept his movements simple. (4/10)

Ibrahim Sunusi: Culpable of a big miss in the first half and wasn't an impressive presence upfront. (3/10)

Taiwo Awoniyi: The brighter of the attackers on the night. Tried the much he could but very little came off. (5/10)

The Substitutes

Sunday Faleye: Fluffed a very big chance in the closing moments and didn't really look spectacular after his introduction. (3/10)

Bright Enobahkare: Shorn of meaningful service after coming on and could do little to pick apart the retreating opponents. (3/10)

Tom Dele-Bashiru: Nothing of note from the Watford youngster following his introduction. (2/10)
DrLikita12, You were right after all. The Goalkeeper that you acknowledged as the most impressive also got the highest rating here too.

Don't mind the person accusing you otherwise ok. It has been established that they dislike one being critical of their favoured Players even when it is glaring that they were below per in output.

Somehow, you equally made mention of the Goalkeeper as outstanding too. Kudos.
