The U-23 Eagles are our only hope to obtain a medal from the Summer Olympics (as evidenced by past years). With their absence, Nigeria's chances of winning a medal are slim. I have alot of confidence in our emerging b-ball team, but their chances of standing on the podium look bleak as well.

The problem is that it’s not just football, it’s in almost every sector. We have normalized dishonesty and we will continue to pay the price.

Politicians lie, civil servants fake their ages, coaches take bribes, we defraud each other, put ‘our’ people when we get somewhere at the expense of more qualified applicants, etc.
We should even ask how some of these coaches got/continue to retain their jobs.
It’s an attitude we need to get rid of as a country.
