I shared a picture earlier where one of the under 23 coaches was encouraging a player to reduce his age on twitter. These are the kinds of people that are in charge. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

My condolences to the boys for their failure to secure an Olympic berth. May their careers not be stymied by this unfortunate impediment. The U-23 Eagles are our only hope to obtain a medal from the Summer Olympics (as evidenced by past years). With their absence, Nigeria's chances of winning a medal are slim. I have alot of confidence in our emerging b-ball team, but their chances of standing on the podium look bleak as well. 1 Like |

tbaba1234: The problem is that it’s not just football, it’s in almost every sector. We have normalized dishonesty and we will continue to pay the price. Politicians lie, civil servants fake their ages, coaches take bribes, we defraud each other, put ‘our’ people when we get somewhere at the expense of more qualified applicants, etc. We should even ask how some of these coaches got/continue to retain their jobs. It’s an attitude we need to get rid of as a country. 7 Likes 1 Share |

U see am, and he was invited continously in the team. Chai 9ja who do us this thing? always living in the past. I lost all hope on the guy when he struggled to get games at lowly rated vv venlo few seasons ago. If he flops in Huesca, next stop for him will be the norwagian 2nd tier His biggest problem is believing that he has arrived when he is yet to even start komekn: 1 Like |

Joebie: And when l questioned his selection l was called HATER. Then TheSuperDelusional Hallelujah praise singers band kept screaming his praises to the extent of projecting he will be in the SE World cup Squad. This is the SPECAIL TALENT. It's simply impossible for someone who has not played competitive football for near 10 months to sustain any kind of impact in a competitive international tournament. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kbs468: yeah. I wanted to really see Okoye tested via this u23 tournament to justify his inclusion in the SE. I guess if that had happened, we would not have seen what Abubakar can do because Immama would have started Okoye ahead of him. |

So many of them cursed and insulted Rohr for not including him in the world cup team just because he scored a screamer against an experimental atm team in uyo. Na so dem hype em Snr bother aka chidiebere 360 now he is playing in Vietnam or God knows where. The problem with alot of super eagles fan is they tend to over hype our players expecially those who re yet to do anything tangible in the round leather game. Many will curse, yell and abuse Iwobi in this thread but will make excuses for the likes of ajagun, kayode, Nwakali and azubuike even when they hv been below average. Anybody that knows how to spot a talented player doesn't need to watch him play all season long to discover that. komekn: 4 Likes 1 Share |

tbaba1234: People just don't know how physically intense and competitive the EPL is as well as the Championship. Look at Etebo struggling to make headway in.tje Championship our best Midfielder. Then along comes essentially a league one player and claims position IMMEDIATELY. Don't people read the game why did Musa struggle in the EPL or should we say fail. |

DrLikita12:Thank you Dear This is what is called POINT BLANK! I remember TONY IREDIA of the NTA those days. He achors the program on NTA Network called POINT BLANK where he invites stakeholders of the Nigerian project cutting across all facet of life and put pertinent questions to them about life, work, Business, Nigeria, Africa, Education, Agriculture, Technology, Entertainment, culture, Corruption, Police, Army, etc. Name them such that they would have to answer by saying things as they are in truth without hiding anything nor holding back any related info honestly. And that is what you've just highlighted- I mean, the bane of Our Dear country NIGERIA that has seriously inhibit it progress considerably. Once again thumbs up for your comment above 2 Likes |

Our age group coaches do not go through an interview process. You just hear that someone has been appointed. There should be a public advert and eligible candidates should be encouraged to apply. Let there be an interview process and the best qualified selected. We can not continue this culture of NFF people employing their people. There are Nigerians home and abroad doing great things at youth level. Finidi and Olofinjana have had experience coaching youth players. I am sure there are some unknown quality coaches of Nigerian origin. Infact, if a qualified foreigner wants the job, he should be interviewed too. 7 Likes 1 Share |
