We are talking of having a GDP of 25,000 dollars plus as one of the determinants for one to be considered a developed country! I read a lot and I know the massive development going on now and then.We have two types of government. One focuses on massive infrastructure development which is the opposition NDC and the other focuses on massive human development which is the current ruling party,NPP. that's the secret of success.In Spain for example,after the world war 2 and when capitalism was on the rise,there was a massive economic boom across the western countries and what Spain especially and other economies in the US did was to stock Madrid and other cities with buildings,estates,office complex and high rise everywhere with cheap mortgage rate buh forgot to forcus and invest in the people and when the economic crisis came in the 80s and 90s,almost all the buildings were empty including most plush estates and regular residence and office complexes.Homeless people was on the rise in the US and Spain with empty buildings.

Now,Europe has prioritized their human development and maintained mostly old rail and other old infrastructures buh their education and human development remains highest among the world.You don't build buildings and leave the people behind. You create a crisis. They have to move equally.

That's the mistake these Philippians, Indonesia, Thailand,Bangladesh, Brazil,India etc developing economies are doing.They polish parts of their central business districts metropolitan cities with massive estates and high rise buildings and infrastructures buh per capita ,human development index and majority of the population which are poor are being sidelined. Europe has old buildings and cities buh quality citizens
