Good afternoon all. Please some should help me with schools that accept NECO results. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Qudkom(m): 12:57pm On Nov 16, 2019 |
electroTech:You need at least 9weeks. I'll suggest that you differ your admission if they have summer session (May 2020) if not you'll have to defer to September 2020 or notify them you might be resuming late due to you waiting for a decision from CIC. |

boommer:WAEC is the official O'level certificate recognised outside Nigeria. However you can give colleges a try. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Frankrobbn1: 1:00pm On Nov 16, 2019 |
electroTech: Congratulations on your acceptance. First and foremost defer your admission to the next available term because you have limited/no time to gather supporting documents for your visa application. Secondly, sit and think outside the box the reasons for your planned studies in Canada and why you should return home after studies (SOP). It shall end in praises. |

boommer: Check out Brandon University, they accept NECO results with token numbers. All the best |

Frankrobbn1:For winter sir, I was thinking since I have all the documents I need to present. I should go ahead and submit my application. That is why I need you to go through my LOE |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Frankrobbn1: 1:18pm On Nov 16, 2019 |
Piecoco: It's a big risk to reapply at this time for a Winter intake in view of the fact that you didn't undergo an upfront medicals that would help speed up the application process. Well, since you insist on reapplying, you can go ahead with your plans and hope for a positive outcome. However, I won't be available at the moment to review the LOE for you because I'm presently flooded with a great deal of them on my deck. I strongly apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused you. I wish you the very best in your application. It shall end in praises. |

Qudkom: Point 7 got me. In my leave of absence letter to the chairmen of board of directors of the two companies I co founded, I requested for a 4 years study leave as I'm going for Bsc. It was accepted in the board resolution and all board members signed. Will that 4 years study leave cause issues? |

niyiwhaless: Hello Niyiwhaless, It is not a good idea going for a Diploma after a B.sc as it shows no academic progress. But if you can convincingly show a progression from a profeesional viewpoint, then its okay to go ahead. The most important thing is to provide all relevant required documents, avoid costly mistakes/errors, stay clear from misrepresentation. You can check IRCC website or the first page of this thread or the previous for list of required documents. However, your B.sc certificate will suffice. All the best. |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Qudkom(m): 2:17pm On Nov 16, 2019 |
ChidimmaP:To begin with, it's extremely difficult to get approved for Bsc programs if you aren't a teenager. I'm not saying impossible but difficult. Also stating you'd be given 4yrs study leave is impossible to believe. |

Truthshurts: Hello Truthshurts, For a comprehensive list of documents for SP, you can visit IRCC website to check the required documents for Nigeria applicants or check the first page of this thread or the previous page. Thus, getting approved depends on how well you package your application and how much luck falls on you in the process. All the best. |

boommer: Hello Boommer, You can check Centennial college. The most suitable thing foe you to do is make a shortlist of schools, make a direct contact with them either by email or on call to get familiarized with their admission requirements. You can as well surf through their website for their admission requirements. All the best. |

achu442: Hello Achu442, Regarding your DoB, a sworn affidavit will suffice. Also, the WAEC will suffice. You should endeavour to include a valid WAEC scratch card for the school admission processing. Good luck. 1 Like |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Qudkom(m): 6:51pm On Nov 16, 2019 |
Annuilepaul:Hi, to begin with tour CGPA can't get you an msc program in Canada. Going for other post graduate programs such as Graduate Certificate, Advanced diploma programs etc will be the best option going forward. People get refused for msc programs and colleges so it isn't about your choice of institution. |
