IamR: I will advise you spread the money between bonds, Treasury Bills, money market funds and Eurobond. We are not sure of the future of the Naira in 2 years time. If you are like me I will also consider investing in stocks like Nestle, Dangote cement, Zenith and GTB. N1 million invested in GTB in 2001 is now worth over N40 million, the dividend received in 2018 is over 3 times the amount invested. 10 Likes 2 Shares |

some people carry wahala for head dey waka. A thread was created for Tbills which obviously you don't like why not go create your thread or better still do what ever investment you deem fit to do with your money, you obviously wanted to solicits for funds here and people kicked against what ever you had in mind(forget all this your show me proof statement) since then you wont let us be. one can feel how much you loathe tbills from how you type, that an incognito account couldnt even hide it. why not get the fvck off the tread since you dont like what they do in it or better still go to romance section because no one will buy what ever you are selling A beg make I prepare go church before the next thing I hear is you will sue me. 8 Likes 2 Shares

emmanuelewumi:Is it only FBN that offers these options, don’t have an account with them. Is there any other bank that offers these |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 8:37am On Nov 17, 2019 |
chigo4u: FBN Quest Asset Management is a subsidiary of First Bank. Even if you have an account with First Bank, you still need to open either a Money Market Fund account, Fixed income fund account, Eurobond account, Trust account or Stockbroking account with FBN Quest Merchant Bank/Asset Management which are the Investment Banking subsidiaries of First Bank. The head office is in Ikoyi Lagos, with offices at Abuja and Port Harcourt. You can also try United Capital or Stanbic y Asset Management 1 Like |

Right now my finance is a bit messy cos i have planned n budgeted all expenses for the next two years on tbs but things are not going as planned, i love to live a budgeted life, hate to tap into my capitals. My question is, will FG bonds be available come Feb/March next year? That's when I'm mopping up all my tbs. Will love to buy FG bonds in d primary market |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 9:08am On Nov 17, 2019 |
RealityShot: You won't get dividend, but your profit will reflect in the sale price. You can buy the money market fund, they pay dividends every quarter. With a minimum of N5000 you are good to go. You can can top it up whenever you have money, they currently have about N60 billion under management for the money market fund. The money market fund invests in Treasury Bills, Commercial papers and other short term financial instruments. 1 Like |

DaBogu: Where is your location? Find out from the investment banking subsidiaries of Stanbic IBTC or FBN. Investment One, United Capital, Axa Mansard and others also have mutual funds that are registered and regulated by SEC. They have billions of naira under management and they give monthly reports to the regulators 2 Likes |

I have a few questions; 1. How do you calculate the yield on bonds. Here you quoted 16.39% coupon and yield of 12.06. What does that mean? 2. Are your interests based on 16.39% or 12.06%? 3. After investing when do you start receiving coupon payments. 4. Do you need to open an account to invest in bonds? needful: 1 Like |
