Good day all. am a new member of this thread. I initially wanted to study medicine but due to my jamb score I had to change to a course under medical line. By d grace of God,when the school resumes next year, I will be a malabress (university of calabar)and I will be resuming wit dem in the department of radiography and radiological science. so my seniors I would like to really know 1 or 2 things about the course because not everyone like me know about what this profession entails. I would like to know : the years, the main subjects or courses I will encounter and after getting the degree what next.

Is there any school in Nigeria where Mechanical engineering can be studied online? An approved one please.

Radiography is a 5 Years course with a compulsory one year paid internship then u proceed for NYSC. Medical Radiography is the science of taking images of the anatomy and physiology of the body for diagnosis and treatment. Radiography uses different modalities to achieve the required images.
The modalities are Computed Tomography CT, Magnetic Resonance Imaging MRI, Conventional Xray, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy etc
In the university, Radiography
is divided into preclinical and clinical phases. The preclinical phase is year 1 and 2. In year 1 u take the normal science courses physics biology chemistry mathematics etc . In year 2 you take courses like anatomy(Gross n Histology) physiology biochemistry biostatistics pathology basic physics in radiology, radiation physics , hospital practices etc.


Year 3 : Clinical phase : courses taken are radiography equipment, radiography techniques, radiobiology radiation protection n Dosimetry radiographic anatomy n physiology etc
1st professional exam at year 3.

goodmorning guys....i scored low in my jamb and i cant really tell for now if i was able to pass the cut off mark and my desired course to study is radiography i hope i hv a chance to be whom i want to become,pls i need prayers for covid-19 to pass away so schools will resume and we go back to schools.

Pls how can I gain admission to unical to study radiography with 183
