Doesn't make economic sense if land price is high to build low if there are no restrictions. Only Nakuru in Kenya has 10 floors limit because it sits on fault line susceptible to earth quake.Anyway how expensive are talking about here? The place you see in Nairobi with skyscraper an acre can cost btw 5-10m dollars.
Are you on phone, check your grammer

The strong CEDIS nobody want to keep - not even the Ghanians - leave alone foreigners - who immediately convert the USELESS CEDIS to USD and send them back home. The "strong" CEDIS that is one of Africa most deprecating currency.

The strength of the currency is it's stability against USD.

Japan Yen is a strong currency even if 1USD =108 Yens.

I can hazard that in Africa - CEDIS is the second weakest currency after ZIm dollars.

you Kenyans have now resulted to attacking Ghanaians. It's funny you using Japan's currency as a point with you not knowing Japan's export far exceeds imports thus it's good news if Japan strategically decrease the value of their currency.Japan is not an import depending economy so people don't go round looking for dollars to import things into Japan. The dollar rather goes round looking for yen unlike in African economies who always depend on imports and export less.Ghana has a good example because within the last two years,Ghana has recorded a trade surplus thus exporting more than we import. Our cedis is on an automatic adjustments policy which is not controlled by any forcefully borrowing more dollars and injecting it into the economy which is a very bad and dangerous practice to highly reduce the depreciation of your local currency which is done mostly by Kenya.Kenya has an export of just about 5 billion dollars buh imports more than 18 billion dollars which is abnormal and upon all your artificial control of your local currency, the cedis is far valuable than your shillings which is virtually useless. I see people charge mostly in dollars in Kenya.

We need some historical perspective-imo,it comes from slave trade(btw,it was HUGELY EXAGGERATED,most blacks came from Europe, losers of the religious wars and others were indig Americans but there was a long running W African slave trade)In a way I don't blame Ghanaians-on the surface they were better than Naij but share the same sociocultural DNA with everyone else in WA:an extremely unfortunate warping from centuries of slave trade. Basically they all learned the wrong things, the Beninese,Togolese,Ivoriennes,Senegalese,Gambians.Cameroonians,Gabonese etc, etc. They cursed themselves for generations learning how to make money without development in the easiest way capturing and selling fellow men. That's why til today their stagnant and/or take refuge in make believe like Katanka/Innoson and the BS we've seen here. That's why in the entire WA there's no dairy industry!? HTF does that even happen. 300 mn people don't produce their own milk,Kenyans! Its why they don't understand the basic foundation of development. It's why trust level, critical for any business is so low.
It explains why there are such strict hierarchies throughout WA and why commoners are obedient unto death to their rulers.
It's why there is a callousness,a contempt for human life itself commonly seen worsened in highly populated nations like Naij as the resource struggle is ofc that much harder.
Why is juju, gris gris and voodoo so much stronger in Naij, Benin and Liberia not Malawi or Zim'?
Tbh , until a regional acknowledgement for responsibility for the slave trade happens there'll be no release from the negative karmic energy holding WA hostage.
calm down old man, you can't be in kibera and talk history you read. West Africa is more prosperous than any other region in sub Sahara Africa. Ecowas is stronger than any regional body despite the language difference ( Portuguese, French, English and local languages).

KSH is possibly Africa most stable currency.Your cedis is working it way back to 11,500 cedis to a dollar.I don't know who charges dollars in Kenya... maybe you can share a link.Your CEDIS is a big joke that Ghanians do not trust. You can repeg it back to 1 to 1 to the dollar..and 10yrs it would have lost like 5000% of it's value
