Early goals is not a good omen especially playing at home. The World Cup is still far away, so let's hope Rohr will be a little different at least and welcome more competition. When it comes to AFCON I know what to expect. I don't really take that tournament seriously. it's just a bunch of unambitious African teams trying to name who is the local champion. When it comes to the world cup, they don't look serious.. they just shy away.

However, we got the win in a difficult pitch away. And it's important we qualify for these tournaments early. Rohr can always guarantee that.

I was speaking with Andrew the other day about Tue need to strengthen out defence because we have been conceding too much this pas few days but he disagreed citing the facts that every team concedes goals too.

I hope today's match is an eye opener

Aptly put. And like I promptly pointed out after his invitation. Simon has nothing to offer...absolutely nothing

Are they still riding on their past form ?-- Olayinka and Onyekuru. For one, Olayinka has not had a fair chance. Onyekuru on his part has had ample recalls, and maybe a run or two in game time.

isan:
Player like onyekuru and olayinka have been call and dropped later due to stiffed competition on the wing the form ejuke is having now they ave had back in Belgium ...if anything happen i think they will be considered first

Na lie be that. He was very good and solid against South Africa. Hardly put a foot wrong. Be fair to the lad. I too have since called out for a Collins upgrade but I try to be balanced on the lad.

ChrisKels:

He was below average against Algeria, and average against SA. His best game was against SA where he was average at best.

Same thing happened with El Kanemi. As soon as they started playing behind closed doors they started losing- they were even relegated at the end of the day.

You know them well well o.

During the Keshi, Siasia and Oliseh eras, we struggled to beat minnows away. Rohr has made qualification easy.

Rohr is spoilt with talented players playing in decent clubs, whereas during Keshi , Siasia and Oliseh we were still going through the drought

That's the same guy who delivered that beautiful pass to Aribo to convert against Brazil. Aribo also seemed off today. I won't comment after just one match. Moses Simon is still needed in the team. But he has to prove his continuous invites after he is subjected to more competition.

First paragraph, that comparison doesn't make sense because those guys you mentioned are obviously better and if we have people like them in our team, we won't be playing Aina on the left because they are obviously better than Aina.

At the bolded,
It's Same thing happening in the super eagles team.

So shift lemme see front

Then why quote me when I already concluded that Rohr should unearth an above average LB for us?
Aina at LB won't work against stronger teams

this is lesotho incase you forgot
Don't just be quoting

Oga still believes he has a professional career. He is training daily to get back. he is not going to hang his boots to coach SE right now from the look of things.

Awaziem knew he should have been sent off. As a fair man he decided to make amends and dash them a goal. However he better not pull that shit next time.

Victor Osimhen is a beast. 2goals 2 assists!

But now we need a deputy. For me Onuachu is not an option.

Either ways

Did he tell you he won't come if called up?

I still listened to him on radio about a month ago that he would not mind a call up by Rohr

Denied ever rejecting any call up

But I prefer him now as a GK coach if he goes that route

Aina will get even more comfortable playing that role in SE with time. Whether he would do well against stronger opponents, we will see when the time comes.

Until we play intelligent countries/coaches/players, then yansh go spread berekete.

Rohr should help me unearth an above average LB in the likes of Udeze, Babayaro and Taiye Taiwo

For me, our best two wingers are the two Samuels( Kalu and Chukwueze). Simon should be starting from the bench.
