You invest a certain amount for a certain period of time (90, 180, 365 days), if you are investing via a bank the return are instant usually between 8 - 12%. For example if you invest 10,000,000 for 360 days you will be given around 800,000 - 1,200,000 upfront, at the end of your tenure, you will given your capital, I hope you understand

I think your mixing it up, current rate of tb (8%-10%) depending on the duration with is usually expected to be 90,180,365 days, during registration you can decide to take your interest upfront at a little lower interest or leave it out the entire duration depending on the duration available. There is weekly and weekend accumulation of interest. Hope it helps

As for me and my small money, we are not going to be used as a litmus test. Let's see how far Emefiele would go. Now, I see new monikers here on a daily basis, trying to lure us to pull our money from treasury bills and invest in a worthless real economy. We have passed that stage here o.

Lake rice which is from the government is no where to be found anymore. If government cannot use tax payers money to take advantage of boarder closure to increase yield, is it individual with limited funds that would do that?
This country is just too funny. Unqualified clowns running the country and shifting blame to individuals citizens.

When China closed all their boarders, the government was actively involved to make sure they are able to produce their needs within but in Nigeria, the reverse is the case.

Elder Emma, I know a welder that came to Bayelsa to work, but due to lack of electricity, he was left with no option other than to start driving Keke. I agree with you sir, that most artisans are non-Nigerians; most Nigerian youths are on the fast lane. They do not have the patience those foreigners have. It wasn't like this a decade ago.

When PHCN was unbundled, sold and partially privatised, the government of the day did not allow businesses and people with the financial muscles and technical know how to win the bid for the DISCOs.

Most of them the buyers were political jobbers who were settled by GEJ.

They got loans running into billions of Naira from banks, they thought the sector was a money spinner not knowing that they need to spend and spend before they can start making money.
They brought our short term thinking into the business.

They also overpaid for the DISCOs, I would have loved a situation whereby foreign owned companies with track record of experience and success in the sector became the buyers of the DISCOs

The border closure thing is good for those already inside.Its not a long term policy so anybody that is new to agric or planning to enter that thinks he will take advantage should think twice.

As for those of us that know that are not interested in investing in "real economy", hold fast to your money or move to bond if you cannot cope.We all know how unstable the govt and their policies are. Govt must always borrow. Not banking on that tho but we all know that there are higher chances of tb interest rates moving up

I can bet you that those investing in agriculture will still be making money in the next two to three years in this country, though the interest rate might be fluctuating.
