One of the reasons drivers reject trips and ask for destinations before going to pickup location is this o . I didn't ask for destination. Got there, Mum with three kids and help with loads. When I was about starting after we were ready to move, asked for destination. Mum said IKORODU (Sabo). I was like 'I don't go to Ikorodu' in a sober voice. She got down and was ready to remove her things but the humane that I have made me to meet her outside and car and told her I will go. I was there waiting for a trip plus relaxing. I left there after about an hour to General Hospital only for a trip to come asking me to go towards that Sabo again!!! (while typing this post). Me yaf set destination to Sangotedo now!!! |

donfortune48: Guys I had a terrible experience yesterday, at mushin end of ladipo street.
I was dropping off a rider, didn't know that cult boys were Fighting.
All of a sudden people started running, then I saw boys coming out from a street on my left (50metres ahead). I tried to make a sharp turn to a street on my right but I have passed the street a little bit so I needed to go back a little before I can turn in cos there are bikes parked at that junction. Immediately I engaged reverse, one of them started approaching me with a big stainless Cutlass. I moves back with speed not knowing that Keke is already at my back trying to run into the same street with me and had to hit him. When they boys saw what was happening, they all started running towards me (about 20+ boys, all with glittering machetes) I had to drive into the street like that, hitting one bike into the gutter. I ran to the end of the street and saw that the street is blocked, I and my rider just ran away to diff direction not knowing that they have stopped chasing me.
When they moved to another street and people started coming back from their hiding points. I came out and saw that they went straight to the sienna that was coming behind me when I made the turn. Then man jumped down and ran away too. They broke all the glasses on that car ( the windscreen front and back and all the glasses).
I saw the bike I hit into the gutter, it's bent on an Angle 45°. The owner came to me and said Oga I no blame you for what happened, I know you were running for your life. That he will not ask me to fix the bike for him cos he equally left the bike there and ran away. That I should give him just 1k, he will complete it and fix his bike.
This was a terrible experience. I went down to Domino's at ilupeju, parked and went into a deep sober reflection for over an hour.
Had I not escaped, what would have been my faith? Sorry about your experience. Moo/sheen, doesn't even sound good. Please stop going to such neighbourhoods filled with miscreants and perpetrators of all sorts of vices. Leaders of tomorrow indeed... Stay safe. 1 Like 1 Share |

Website: www.mymoto.com.ng Tracker page: https://mymoto.com.ng/product/vehicle-car-pickup-commercial-trucks-gps-tracker-h02-tracker-nigerian-configured/ Office Location: 3-9 Olu Koleosho Street, Off Medical Road, Ikeja, Lagos
WHY DOES YOUR CAR NEED MYMOTO TRACKER
(1) Security: While anti-theft systems like push-buttons before car start, gear lock, pedal locks etc… are good, ONLY A TRACKING SYSTEM LIKE OURS ALLOWS YOU TO RECOVER (AND ALSO PROTECT) YOUR VEHICLE IF YOUR CAR IS HIJACKED FROM YOU WHILE DRIVING. Our trackers are both anti-theft and recovery in nature. e.g. You should shutdown your car before you sleep at night or park in a public space. Whenever you need to start the car, you enable it also.
(2) Remote Monitoring: GPS Security trackers allows you to monitor your vehicle location remotely from your phone. You are able to view your car’s location in real time (from our IOS/ANDROID APPS).
(3) Vehicle History: Through our online platform (IOS/ANDROID APPS) , you can view where your car had been between DAY X and DAY Y. A plot is shown on a map showing your car’s movement over this period of time.
(4) Remotely Stop Your Car: With our security GPS tracker, you are able to stop your car from ANY PHONE with an sms command. This function can also be carried out through our online platforms.
(5) Geo-Fencing Alarm:If your car goes beyond set a radius (or multi-point), say Lagos, you will be notified by sms.
(6) Other alarms (Over-speed Alarm, Ignition On Alarm, Low Battery Alarm ): Over-speed alarms notifies you via sms when your car goes beyond a particular speed. Ignition on notifies you WHENEVER your car is started. Low Battery Alarm lets you know when your car battery is low.
(7) Daily Mileage report (online platform): Daily mileage report shows you a daily chart (in KM) of your car.
We have heard of one or two expereience of how clients were able to recover their vehicles BECAUSE THEY HAD A TRACKER INSTALLED IN IT. We will be sharing some of them with you based on TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCES.
If you have had personal experiences also, kindly share with us.
WE STILL INSTALL THE MOST AFFORDABLE TRACKERS AROUND STARTING FROM 25K (VARIES WITH CAR MODEL).
CONTACT US ON 09032614208 OR 08060675824. More details on tracker: https://mymoto.com.ng/why-you-should-install-the-mymoto-security-tracker/
WE ARE THE ONLY COMPANY THAT OFFERS FREE LIFETIME ACCESS TO OUR ONLINE PLATFORMS FOR MONITORING/STOPpING YOUR CAR.
YOU'VE SPENT QUITE MUCH TO ACQUIRE YOUR CAR, SECURE IT WITH A TRACKER. BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY
Story 1 During one of our installs, the client shared with us how Mr Ayo (not his real name) borrowed his brothers car, and waylaid in the night somewhere in Lagos. Unknown to the thieves, the car had a tracker in it. That same night they tracked the vehicle to a military baracks (apparenntly the thieves had accomplices with military connections). They went with the police and they were able to recover the car (THE DEMOBILIZE FUNCTION OF THE TRACKER WAS USED TO ENSURE THE CAR DID NOT MOVE UNTIL THEY GOT TO THAT LOCATION)...
Story 2 Mr Bayo was bout entering his car in the night somewhere in Lagos when he was attacked. He immediately used his phone to demobilize the car some minutes after they had zoomed away with the car. The thieves ran away when they discovered the car wasn't strating again. The car was tracked to Ajah. Apparently the thieves ran away in fear with the keys of the car

ajoks533: I think drivers should iron something out with Uber/bolt on certain danger zones. There should be a way to send out red flags on areas where there is chaos or riots like mushing. So that anyone going there would be doing so at their own but with lille extra profit. I hope so too. |

In such a situation tracker is not useful The driver using d car will remove it since he already had plans to steal it.
People put as much as three trackers in their cars.... Two are obviously dummies while one is the real one
Even if the driver removes it, at least he will have an idea of the last location before it got disconnected |

My uploaded documents (Licence and Photo) are still showing as pending on Uber.
However, I have gotten to the stage where I have to pick country code and input my number to download app. Did that and nothing came up.
As for Bolt, did online training and took the quiz. Have downloaded the app. Don't know my login details yet.
Plz what do I do now. Hello. Please, can I mention you in an obscure thread, with my contact details. I want to make some inquiries from you as regards the aforementioned registrations. Thanks. |

Do you know the review came in later these morning and it was 1900 naira. They said they have sent the rider message to pay the remaining, that if the rider doesn't I should let them know in a weeks time that they will compensate me. I asked them if these strategy or system has been effective, knowing these is naija.i told them to remove the 1200 naira from my yesterday gross earnings, when the rider say then they can add it. But me i know say naaaa wash |
