True, it is not caused by cold. Most of these rules are old wives tales, cold water turns warm when it enters our body, that why you vomit food its always warm.

I just finished treating malaria yesterday, though, I’ve been discharged now but still on drugs
I noticed this severe pain just above my stomach. I’m 7 weeks gone and I vomited for the first time today.
Could all these be as a result of the malaria treatment, I know vomiting is normal, but the pain I felt afterwards is my concern.

Pain in your tummy after you have vomited may be as a result of the the force and pressure exerted on the tummy in the process of vomiting. But if its severe pain like you said, you may want to speak with your doctor again about.

Vomiting for the first time today at 7 weeks may just be the induction/welcoming ceremony to the morning sickness club sorry about that

hello mamas, been a silent reader n have learnt so much. my anc was today n was told my new edd is 9th dec via the scan, the previous edds are 27th and 29thdec respectively. the doc said ffg my LMP which was 29th march, 9th is appropriate, pls mamas, wt do u think?

it is d LMP date u giv d sonographer is wat e/she will type in d scanner in which d scanner will cal n gv ur EDD n if u chng d date it will recalculate n give u new EDD.... Did u chng ur LMP date... If no... Or well, i guess u shld go 4 anoda scan 2 reconfirm.

scan done in early pregnancy are usually more accurate than those done later in pregnancy. I prefer to use my lmp for calculations for my edd. Although my scan edd and lmp edd is just about a week difference. The basic thing is baby will come when God says.

Mamas, I'm so sorry i misinformed you all. Ice block is so okay, from the first day of conception down to delivery according to some mamas here.
Forget I said/wrote anything in regards to it.

On that note.. my people, pls nobody should quote me on this, before someone will write an epistle on how her LO was even sleeping on an ice block bed. I didn't kill anyone neither did I give a suggestion that might cause harm. I don hear and I don learn.

sorry for not updating oh,night duty don start for me since Nov 4th. I gave birth to a bouncing baby boy Nov 4th edd was 12th, i was induced on Sunday Nov3rd due to gestation diabetes and with 5push my rainbow � baby came out smiling. Thanks to God and my lovely mom that was present in d delivery room and my run away husband that was scared to be in d room. Safe and fast delivery to my November mama’s ( i cant write new msg that is while am sending my bs via ur msg) thanks and God bless us all

Well, to each his own. I personally chewed on ice cubes when i was pregnant with my first, was dehydrated and my doc suggested it. That was how i was able to get water into my system. My husband reported me to everybody , my mum and inlaws would call tire then, i will just say 'yes ma', as I'm dropping the call, i dey open freezer

What i always say is listen to your body when you are pregnant as body differs.

Don't take it so seriously, mama. People just gave their different opinions and what worked for them. That doesn't mean anyone is wrong or right. There is no one size fits all. Plz don't feel bad or that people are against you or your opinion. Different strokes for different folks. Take care of you and LO.

Congratulations to mamas who just birthed. Today I no get strength to look for and mention names biko. Tiredness wan finish my enemy.
