Of course, I know in SSA, big textile exporters are Kenya, Lesotho, Madagscar, and even Ethiopia never heard of Ghana

Last year - we exported textile worth nearly 400M dollars to US. Next time you buy a jeans - check for Made In Kenya label.

The goods, mainly textile products, increased from Sh33 billion in 2018 to Sh41.5 billion last year. Capital investment increased to 96.3 billion in 2018 from Sh95.3 billion in 2017 while direct employment in the sub-sector increased by 5.1 per cent to 46,248 persons in 2018.

Kenya was leading until I think 2012 or around - we use to send 7,000 students to the US - but we fixed our education. This is how Ghana and Nigeria loses forex. Sending student all over the world to school is sending forex all over the world. Australia for example I think education forex is probably 2nd largest source after minning. Build universities locally.

Another thing that shocked me was the fact that 33% of Kenyans are desperately poor very poor In Ghana, the poverty rate is less than 25% and people are complaining they are quick to post buildings in Nairobi, but beyond those buildings are tons of dirt, rubbish and stvpidity, poverty
