rvp20182:
Only two flour mills. Let start from Kenya strategic grain reserve silos..before we go to thousands of millers.

Ghana you're small potato.

Kenya has about 20 – 25 millers, of these 18 are large capacity (+150 Mt per day) and the others are medium capacity (50 – 150 Mt per day). The total milling capacity in Kenya at present is about 3,500 Mt/24 hours.

Versus the small potato Ghana with 4 small millers.

There are four major wheat milling companies in Ghana, 3 located in Tema (GAFCO, Irani Brothers and Golden Spoons Ltd) and one in Takoradi (Takoradi Milling Ltd).

Example one : Milling companies : UNGA

Unga Limited, a Group operating company, is one of the oldest companies in Kenya, registered on 28th December 1908, with the aim of serving the milling needs of the fledgeling wheat growing industry that had established itself in the Rift Valley region. The first mill was commissioned in April 1909. The subsequent expansion resulted in additional investments in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Today, Unga Holdings Limited has production facilities in Nairobi, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kampala and Dar-es-Salaam

so now
silos are flour mills ?

4 huge millers
dumb kenyan grin grin grin grin

Irani brothers is doing 270,000 metric tonnes of flour at it three mills
Takoradi Flour MILL was doing 216,000 metric tonnes in 2016

Silverstar is a dealer
owned by a Ghanaian

Your story is never straight. You said you don't have dealership. You can't be trusted.

Just30:
we dont need a dealership to buy rolls royce

we import them and pay duties like crazy

there is a reason why Eukor, Glovis and Autoliner
three roll roll ships berth at Tema every week

not forgetting the Grimaldi's vessels.

Mombasa Port now handles 33M metric tonnes - so whatever you're typing is nonsense - SGR is just 2yrs into operations - SGR has lots of room for growth - before it get to 20M tonnes - and we begin double-stacking containers to 35M metric tonnes.

This is not TEMA PORT smiley Tema's weaknesses include the fact that it has a draught of just 11.5m and can only receive container ships with a capacity of 5,500 TEUs

Ghana's largest port, Tema handles about 12 million tonnes of cargo a year, including petroleum, cement, aluminum products, and textiles.

Mombasa handles about 3 times that.

Tema port just expanded

without Kenya having a productive capacity

it raillines that lead to nowhere will never break even

IBRAHIM KHAMIS
Kenya’s population stands at 47.5 million with every child born today owing the lenders $1,300 (Sh130,000).

The country’s domestic and foreign debt is now at dreadful Sh50 trillion ($50 billion), 15 percent beyond the recommendations set for developing countries by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

This is in addition to the current annual borrowing of nearly $2 billion (Sh200 billion) to retire matured loans, finance infrastructure and address other budgetary expenditures.

The fear is that in few years of excessive borrowing and increasing debt ceilings without growing the economy or creating new innovative tax base, the national debt burden will reach unsustainable level and risks of economic decline.

SELLING CITIZENSHIP

Governments today have added a new arsenal for raising revenues through sale of citizenship, passports, permanent residency and special visa programmes as products to foreign nationals to complement normal tax base of the country. They are tailored to finance sp

I don't have to compare anything. All I need to do is read reports by people who compare such luxury goods. One is the Mauritus AfroAsia which declare Kenya luxury market to be bigger..400M versus 500M dollars.
