UBA 25M bids against 4M offers, yet the lazy thing is still watching what access and fbnh will do first. Give Japaul that kind of opportunity and see the crazy full bids that someone will see. |

Valueinvestor: My Oga, I think you should seriously consider the fact and size of negative equity resulting in a negative net assets. That's a very dangerous one that may take several decades to correct, except they get fresh capital to inject or get another bank to acquire them(I doubt any bank will be interested by the way). |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by chillykelly86(m): 11:16am On Nov 20, 2019 |
pluto09: It appears the CBN has lost appetite to intervene sef. That's may be why they are making regulations more stringent. This Unity own go don tire them; over #200b on the surface. We never consider the quality of the remaining assets oo. On a serious note, nobody on this forum should be playing in Unity stock with any money they can not afford to lose without batting an eyelid; its just too dangerous. |

emmanuelewumi: The dividends of publicly traded REIT securities are exempt from withholding taxes (WHT) in the hands of the investors. Just like proceeds of investments in FGN bonds and treasury bills, REIT's fall in this category of Federal Government backed tax exemption. The first of such tax exemption is the tax waiver issued through the Debt Management Office in 2010 by President Jonathan in 2010. He approved a waiver of taxes on all categories of bonds, Federal, sub- national, corporate and supra- national bonds, Mortgage-backed Securities, and Asset-backed securities (which is the case with REIT's securities), etc. The range of taxes covered by the approval, are those prescribed under the Personal Income Tax Act, Value Added Tax and the Capital Gains Tax Act. I hope this helps bro. 1 Like |

I laugh when I see the price of CORNERSTONE INSURANCE trading for 70k and AIICO @ 73k. ...when the later is suppose to be trading at near 3x(3 times) the former !! While the former could be rising for other unknown reason, the latter has NO business trading at current price level. A similar thing is playing out btw JAIZ BANK and WEMA. ...but we understand what is going on.(usual gimmicks in play) Well those who know and understand, know what they need to continue to do. Money shall be made by the smart fellows !! Time shall later put things in their right perspective. We are here !! 2 Likes |
