Mavor:
Thanks for the feedback. I am looking at a budget of around 350k. Please why do I have to run all the appliances at once and is that a must? Are we talking about a solar system here for recharging and are there now efficient panels available?
I have a solar inverter system in my house.
All appliances running implies that your house (total) is using maximum power.
Now, the inverter has to meet and supply this maximum power.
The solar panels have to take sunlight and charge the inverter at this full power.
If the solar panels cannot do this, then the day you switch on everything in your house and the sun is fully bright, your inverter batteries will still run down slowly until you reduce your power usage by turning off something.
-
The funny thing, During the Rainy season June, July, August, September, October, when there is cloud blocking the sun daily, Mon, Tue, Wed....
..the solar panels will NEVER finish charging the batteries if you are using things in your house. You will then need NEPA to assist charging your batteries.
And if NEPA decide to be complete devils (No light), you inverter batteries will never fully charge.
They will die without enough sunlight during the rainy season.
Get more than required solar panels for those dark days in the rainy season.

I hate ceiling fans. There are not mobile and therefore permanently change the appearance of the room, exept the luxury ceiling fans which beautify and if course does not come in solar LE consumption types.

For me, if I need anything like fan, standing fan does it or at worst orbit fan which is also small enough to be partially mobile and less conspicuous than those ceiling fans.

well, what can I say? I guess to each, his own smiley

flip the table around and I guess there are peeps here that won't touch a standing fan with a long pole.
so, at the end of the day it boils down to personal preference.
but if one is really serious about aesthetics I think split unit inverter acs would be the cooling medium
of choice.

I read about someone asking of the UKA rechargable fan durability ... It's simply a low cost fan with tiny DC rotor & nothing really spectacular in it's build ! The popular lontor ac/dc fans are more durable. I still have fans with remote control within good budget range if interested ..

Bro, your Haier thermocool served you for ten years and even though that is below par in the standard of days of yore when you have cooling appliances running for decades until the enamel gives way and rust takes over or until the doors start to fall apart, 10 years may be impressive in the standards of nowadays. So why don't you shop for Haier thermoccol product as a replacement?

I used to have a Haier thermocool which was repaired after 9 years of use and still working but now consumes upwards of 350 watts continuous (I guess the repairs caused the surge in power demands). I simply got a Haier thermocool replacement.

The only thing I did was that I went armed with my wattmeter to measure the least consumption in their offer of products and secured a 114 watts 209 litres freezer.

Other less popular brands equally have energy efficient (or even better energy efficiency than your popular brands like LG, Samsung) since "energy saving" the current fad among manufacturers to draw more patronage. But I think the brand that has served you well before should top the list of preference, except you have impressive users reviews of other competing brands should you then consider such.

A member once posted here the insanely low energy consumption of his 207 litres Hisense deep freezer (70 watts continuous, I think) that all I could do was envy him in "sifia psychological pain" since I got the Haier thermocool replacement just about 3 months before he got the Hisense product.

Another good thing with some wattmeters is that along with continuous power draw log, they also log surge power and surge current at any instant of appliance powering up. That way you will be able to tell the surge of the appliances especially the cooling appliances.

Is there anything we can do without sun. No wonder the older generations worshipped it as God smiley

https://twitter.com/CNN/status/1197396458271596545?s=19

Chalmers University of Technology in the Swedish city of Gothenburg, scientists have created a specialized liquid that can absorb solar energy and store it for as long as 18 years as a thermal fuel. The fluid works like a rechargeable battery, but instead of electricity, sunlight goes in and heat comes out when it's needed.
