As you know, many of our schools sell themselves on moral/religious standards. There are many millionaires in Nigeria who made their wealth just by naming their school Christ's College etc. Any perception that such school does not uphold those moral standards is fatal to their business. I attended a Christian secondary which was the 2nd most successful private secondary school in PH, but collapsed in a couple of years once parents started to suspect the morals of the founder.

This is BabCock, a self acclaimed 7th day Adventist school, not American University of Nigeria which sells itself on quality of education only. Atiku would not have expelled the girl but BabCock certainly will.

Now tell me the legal precedence for the girls case against BabCock. What is the maximum that a Judge would fine BabCock if the girl took them to court? The girl would claim injury to her career which will be a small fine as.the Judge would consider that only 1 year of her career has been impeded. BabCock only need 10 student's school fees to pay whatever arises from the Legal risk. Judge cannot award more than that, meanwhile BabCock will lose hundreds of entrants if they don't show parents that they sanction students for such behaviour.
