Their government needs to take a tough stance against crime today. If it needs to send in the army, it should. South Africa has become a criminal paradise.

Unemployment is high in South Africa primarily because of the rigid labours. Rigid labour laws makes it expensive to hire and fire workers. Imagine if the government in Nigeria enforced the new minimum wage of 30,000, what will happen? Millions will lose their jobs.

The rigid labour law are also an Apartheid relic. During Apartheid, the communist party and many unions stood thrir stand against Apartheid and many supported the then banned ANC..

They were rewarded by the ANC at the start of black rule. They were influential in crafting labour laws and they were the ones that forged these labour laws that are a huge drag on the labour market. The labour laws are okay for large corporations but are a big disservice for small businesses.

South Africa badly needs flexible labour laws to provide jobs for jobless South Africans. Only 5m South Africans pay income tax in a population of over 50m people. It tells you how rigid the labour laws are.

South Africa needs to privatise it's state owned companies but will not do so because whites will buy a majority of the shares which is a no no.
