Homextras: Treasury Bills the CASH COW of ZENITHBK is no longer ATTRACTIVE. Somehow the management is DELEVERAGING against next year which brought about the yo-yo movements. BETTER carry your KAYA and enter a moving bus except you are a good SWING TRADER. *ThE OcToPuS* |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by onegentleguy: 7:16pm On Nov 21, 2019 |
onegentleguy: U can't get the answer been in a hurry. Here's a break down. 1st off, Bucket No 4 should've been the naturally correct answer. ...and the reason is simple; The thing about boyles law in physics !! It's all about the principal behind the word PRESSURE and how it tends to increase with dept(or decrease with height). ...a brief; Bucket No 1 is the source, and the thing about pressure increasing with dept means that; bucket No 4 should fill up before 5, 5 before 3 and 3 before 1 when u consider the left side of the pictorial view. ...and on the right side of the pictorial view, Bucket 6 should fill up before 7, 7 before 2 and 2 before 1. ...and because pressure decreases with height the left pictorial view should fill up before the right. ...leaving bucket No 4 as the 1st to naturally fill up. But unfortunately, its NOT the right answer. ...and here's why: Carefully observe the diagram again, and u'll notice that; •The pipe that connects bucket 3 to 4 is without an opening in 3, so water can't go into bucket 4. • The pipe that connects bucket 4 to 5 is without an opening in 5, so water can't go into bucket 5. • The pipe that connects bucket 2 to 6 is without an opening in 2, so water can't go into bucket 6. ...and finally, • Bucket 7 is broken at the bottom so any water that goes into it from 2 licks out as waste. The interpretation of this is that bucket Nos 4, 5, 6 and 7 can never be filled with water !! ...which leaves us with bucket Nos 1, 2 and 3 as the only 3 that water can fill into. Of the 3 however, Bucket No 3 will fill up before 2... and 2 before 1(the thing about pressure increasing with dept) ...hence, Bucket 3 should be the 1st to fill up. So the RIGHT ANSWER is bucket No 3 !! Morale: Life is a bit more complex than we sometimes assume. ...so it's ALWAYS BEST TO LOOK BEFORE U LEAP so u don't end up dissipating resources that would "end with buckets like that of 4, 5, 6 and 7". It's imperative to always pay attention to every detail. ...even the smallest of details should get due consideration !! In the stock market, PLAN UR TRADE in line with ur laid out STRATEGY so u won't end up loosing more(with buckets 4, 5, 6 and 7) and gaining less(with 1, 2 and 3) Life is a lesson !! Salah 5 Likes |

Mcy56: My Sister, No be say i dey put mouth for your matter o but look your portfolio and decide say you no go sell any stock for the next 6 months. Infact if you can do without looking at prices for the next 2 months that will be helpful. With the way things are going, if you come back in the next 3 - 6 months and sell off half of stocks in your portfolio, you will most probably make much more money than being very active in the market on a daily or weekly basis. Even the best chartists and fundamentalists will tell you that there are two periods of time patience makes the difference in determining successful stock market players. Patience while waiting for the right entry price, and after you have entered, patience while waiting for the right exit price range. Even the best analysts and and chartist will go burst if they lack patience. Also remember to always have a stop loss price that you should treat as dogma. As Agba don run from this forum till next year, i am sure he has entered at his chosen price and is not checking day to day price. Ditto for people like Oracle who are just checking price for fun and i can bet are not involved in day to day activity. My sincere thoughts seeing how you have narrated your entries and exits in last few days. 5 Likes 1 Share |
