rebekah2011: Once you sight cash(oxygen) in a company financials, there is no point watching your back carefully.Just accumulate with all strength. If fide/fcmb can do 2.50 and wapco 17,I will cash out fide/fcmb for Wapco at 17.Ready to go 100% Wapco(portfolio) before financial year end. E go pooo and e go vomit. 1 Like |

Zenith is not for you Sir. From experience, Zenith has a holding period of say 2 to 3 years depending on the flow of the market. If you have done Treasury Bills of 365 days before at 16%. I do not think one will lose sleep if you see Zenith at a dividend yield of 14-15%. lancee: 1 Like |

BAMOFIN1: My optimism is only suitable for me alone o. Instead of holding zenith,I better hold wapco. This is the philosophy guiding me now.All I know is it will work for me. You can also do your own comparison between wapco and any other stock based on how long you have been @wapco. 2 Likes |

rebekah2011:Firstly,i can see you mentioned about 4 good/promising stocks there, and not just ONE.(av got them too) Secondly stock investment is not guesswork-I tink most people know that Thirdly av got a long term horizon when it comes to stock investment although we all have that traders instinct. Fourthly if i av gat no money to invest i dont think i would want to sell my Gtb,uba, dangcem, uba and some others to buy only zenith.(Dont get me wrong, zenithbank holds about 20% of my portfolio, but definitely not 100%..i wish i could increase the percentage, but since am not the CEO of zenith and i dont have control over nigerian economy,i would rather behave like a rat and not entrust my life to just one hole 2 Likes |

What am seeking is that you kindly explain it to those of us who may seek adopt it. I need to state that your recent stock choice strategy (Locoist strategy) totally appeals to me as it aligns with how I think retail investors can operate profitably given the peculiarities of the NSE. |

lancee: Liver don dey cut you already on top Zenith? LOL. Zenith na real yeye stock. Whether it's trading at 11, 15, 25 or 30 naira, it has its own way of misbehaving. Be weary of pumping more funds into FCMB, the result might already be priced in and might start a downward trajectory once the result is out. That's my own take shaa. You are entitled to yours, as always. 3 Likes |

I have said it that Zenith is not a reliable stock. When the noise was too much here about how the stock will rally, i gullibly entered at N19.50.... but when I saw that, on same day, it has started reversing I quickly jumped out atN19.20... and the remaining unit at N19.05... After this “Bruce lee” exit of mine, it has continued on a downward trend.... Immediately I sold and cut my loss, I just carry my Kaya enter Dangote sugar, more wapco, and Access .... Zenith fit give person heart attack... I wish you dividend lovers and biased analysts (I won’t mention names because of stone.... ) good luck as me I don vamuuuussse... 1 Like |

Coolcash1: Zenith pattern is not strange to most of us here. Notice how the price reverse everytime dividend is declared? Somebody is enjoying good dividend yields in billions |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 8:38pm On Nov 22, 2019 |
OBAGADAFFI: The guy enjoying good dividends in billions don begin abandon you and thereby making the free float shares more volatile. Just take a good time and make a good research on why a profitable stock should be on sale for weeks/volume. Access bank will beat zenith Bank in this coming financial year result.Quote me. 1 Like |

Coolcash1: I remember you once saying that you have never made a profit with Zenith bank. That has been my own case over the years until this year. I was able to cycle it twice this year but the 3rd journey yielded no.profit rather I lost brokers fees. Even when I bought the stock once around #12, took dividend, I think #1.55 and still didn't end on any tangible positive afterwards until I sold. This stock carry evil spirit (in my own case) it might have paid some people though. 1 Like |

STOjo:From Mcy's point of view, None Sir......but you may go for Caverton for the medium term. Cornerstone already delivered over 200% price appreciation, may be risky to enter now, but the final decision is yours. In my opinion, ETI is yet to enjoy d rally and my ogas said it's good at current price, PZ according to them is trading at its 10yrs low, it may rally small...... Let me leave the rest for my ogas to answer, I'm just trying ni. 1 Like |

locodemy: If Access beat Zenith, can Access pay N2 dividend? If Access is selling at N20 what will be her dividends yield? Zenith currenlty got the highest dividends yields on NSE. Just looking at GTB vs Stanbic . When it time for dividends, I will buy GTB before thinking about Stanbic. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Valueinvestor: 9:58pm On Nov 22, 2019 |
mendes911:My oga that stock has done well for you o,if you actually bought at 12, cos it got to #24 at some point(thats cool 100%).All boils down to time spent in the market, then knowing when a stock overpriced and underpriced. When i sell a stock i try to leave a unit or 2,then see what happens to the stock in the next few months/years.This gives me insight as to whether,i sold in a hurry or i slept over the stock for too long(this may not work for everyone) I still insist that, zenithbank is a stock worth having in ones portfolio(Even at current price),but definitely not the ONLY ONE.The upward potential far outweighs the downward risk |
