Nigsrdumb: They called that 100k a fee. When u are done with account opening, another story of minimum amount to buy bond will come up. Ask them if u can buy bond with that N100k. 8 Likes 1 Share |

Please you first have to create an account with them. But before the account can be opened, you also need a resident permit from with their immigration service. Akin3891:+233 50 410 0011 25A Castle Road, Ambassadorial Area Ridge gh.corporateaffairs@gtbank.com https://www.gtbghana.com 2 Likes |

You don't need to open any special account to purchase fgn bond (secondary market) from Stanbic. Open the normal current or savings account and any time you want to buy the bond, send a mail to your account officer indicating the tenor you want. He would forward the coupon and yield of the available tenors to you to consider. Your account will be debited accordingly. I have been doing this for some time 11 Likes 1 Share |

TotoNaRubber:You can call stanbic to confirm if it's possible. What I said is that my account was debited for the transaction and 'Confirmation of Bond Trade' sent to me. Meanwhile I have received the payment for the first 6 month |

TotoNaRubber: Why dont u find out yourself instead of being pessimistic. I saw what @Nigsrdumb posted. i was in doubt, so i put a call across. I was even told categorically that the 100k is for fgn bond. They even told me the ones available and none of them was a savings bond. some over 10 years sef. Stanbic Stock brokers, being the largest stock broker is too big to confiuse people or lie about the 100k. what they do is pool fund together. That's why the account opening is different from that for shares. 4 Likes |

unite4real:[qplease i will also like to have a read through of your reply to the DPM enquiry.. uote author=ukay2 post=84251224] Please don't invest with this bond. It's expensive.....just look at brokerage fee of 1% instead of 0.05% with stanbic ibtc bank itself ....these brokers de make money. .... Use stanbic ibtc bank. ... Moreover I have responded to your DPM for other enquiries. [/quote] |

Hi guys! I haven't been chanced to go to the Bank but my T-bills transaction failed the last time primary market auction was held and I was credited back but two days, I got debited again without filling the form or authorise any transaction for the same amount and same tenor for the next primary market auction. Is the Normal or I need to go to the back to fight the guy in charge of T-bills at the branch I went to. |

bendo75: You guys are mistaking FG savings bond with FG bond. You need 5k to buy FG Savings bond, but you need from N50 million to buy FG bond. It used to be N100 million in the past. But some Stockbrokers firms or Investment houses will accept N20 million for secondary market purchases 1 Like |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by emmanuelewumi(m): 5:34pm On Nov 23, 2019 |
vacanci: With 5k you can buy FG savings bond, from the bank. FG bond can be bought from Stanbic IBTC Stockbrokers and other investment houses and you will need about N20 million |
