I have had people bring out daggers for me when this subject was discussed some time ago

The Bundesliga is ranked number 3 in Europe. That means the EPL is higher, however we don't have rankings that consider the second tiers of Europe. However the disparity between the top 12 clubs leaves the bottom 4/5 clubs to be very poor.

I watched Paderborn and found the quality of football to be very low. They are the bottom club of the Bundesliga but l would not place them above a bottom three club of the Championship which is Stoke city.

Let's be substantive and not emotive and hasty. We can consider football quality but players and also by costs.

Look at the number of international players in Stoke including our own Etebo and compare the numbers of international players in Paderborn including our own Collins.

Now let's look at finances the team transfer value now compare the two. Who is ahead by value.

Does anybody believe that Paderborn will beat Stoke city. In football anything can happen but on paper Stoke look above to me.

This is why l say that the Championship is the most unique 2nd tier league in Europe able to generate by far much more money than any other 2nd tier in Europe.

So for those that dismiss the Championship it's based on emotive prejudice than substantive facts.

Finally, to buttress my point put in the bottom team of the EPL Watford and play them against Paderborn what do you think will happen.

Barcelona have opened a three-point lead at the top of La Liga after a hard-fought 2-1 win over CD Leganes at Estadio Municipal de Butarque on Saturday afternoon, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.

En-Nesyri gave the home team a shock lead after 12 minutes, firing home a left footer into the corner of the net.

Valverde's men came from behind to secure all three points thanks to second-half goals from Luis Suarez and Arturo Vidal.

Kenneth Omeruo was retained in the starting line-up for the visit of Barcelona but had to be substituted off in the 82nd minute and the initial word from Leganes is that the Nigeria international was replaced due to 'discomfort'.

The central defender was seen holding his left thigh as he made his way to the bench.

Omeruo has struggled with fitness problems this season and this contributed to the decision of manager Gernot Rohr to omit him from the starting line-up for the recent Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho.

Despite his inability to finish the game, the former Chelsea star will be remembered for the things he did right prior to his substitution as he prevented Lionel Messi from scoring while Luis Suarez was kept quiet until the 53rd minute when he restored parity for Barcelona.

Another Super Eagles defender in Chidozie Awaziem was a non-playing substitute

Lol no near Super Eagles management. Zuby still has LOTS of work to do.
OMANBALA1:

It doesn't take a seer to spot an intelligent individual, brother. And , no , Keshi is not corrupt. It's a matter of preference and like I said a fit Zuby will start ahead of a fit Ndidi....my preference.

It won't happen, that's my point. What we have is a Nigerian problem which spreads to many other spheres of life.

No the system can be changed right now. The nff can create measures to ensure that their referees don't get compromised. The NRA can do more to punish foul refs on sight. This all can be done today.

Go back and see Nigeria vs Lesotho again and sincerely tell me how many passes the nigga missed then watch Nigeria U23 vs South Africa and tell me how many passes Zuby missed....may God help Zuby enter better club and all you haterz go carry gbese. Khaki nobi leather. Nonetheless, Ndidi is a good player but he was also lucky, while Zuby has not had so much luck. This happened to Osimhen and now Onyekuru but we know their talents. If Zuby moves to a better club na end of story ooo. Dont say I didnt tell you so, the nigga na midfield boss. He can play DM, CM and even attacking

A round-up of Nigerian players that were in action for their respective clubs in the English Premier League on Saturday, November 23.

Nigerian players with dual nationalities and have played competitively for the senior national teams of other countries have been omitted.

At the Vitality Stadium, Wolves earned a 2-1 victory against Bournemouth following a fast start.

Joao Moutinho and Raul Jimenez struck for Nuno Espirito Santo's team inside the opening 31 minutes of a game which saw Simon Francis sent off for the hosts.

Philip Billing started for the Cherries but was replaced by Jefferson Lerma after the first half while his teammate Dominic Solanke was a non-playing substitute.

Arsenal were held to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium in a tensed clash with Southampton.

A brace from Alexandre Lacazette nullified strikes from Danny Ings and James Ward Prowse for the Saints.

Bukayo Saka missed out on the Gunners match day due to fitness problems.

Elsewhere, Everton were beaten 2-0 at the Goodison Park by a spirited Norwich City.

Todd Cantwell opened scoring on resumption of play before Dennis Srbeny added a late second for the visitors.

Alex Iwobi was thrown on for Morgan Schneiderlin in the 56th minute for Everton as Marco Silva sought more attacking impetus for his team. Adam Idah was missing from the Canaries match day list.

At the Amex Stadium, Leicester City continued their rich vein of form with a 2-0 win over Brighton courtesy of second goals from Ayoze Perez and Jamie Vardy.

Wilfred Ndidi made a routine start, his 100th appearance in the Premier League, and was on for the entirety of the game for the Foxes while Kelechi Iheanacho watched proceedings from the bench throughout. Brighton's Leon Balogun was not utilised for action.

Over to the Vicarage Road and it was Watford who suffered a 3-0 loss to Burnley.

Chris Wood, Ashley Barnes and James Tarkowski were all part of the goal party for the Clarets.

Watford's Tom Dele-Bashiru was not summoned for action from the bench while his teammate Isaac Success was not listed for the game
