He played all games, if true he'd have dropped him after the first two games

What about Osaze taking corrections. What do you mean by if true? Are you the one who drafted the tactics?

Keshi played with big strong strikers because he relied a lot on long balls. So Martins did not fit into the system. That was why when he tried Martins, he flopped.

Osaze when he got the chance refused to play to instructions. Uche also Blatantly told Keshi that he would not play the way Keshi wanted. There was no way Keshi was going to deal with their ego. Imagine Osimhen telling Rohr he will not play the way Rohr wants...
I'm curious why two players will refuse to play to instruction, they've always played under previous coaches both at club level and NT there's more to it than they told us

After apologising, he still did not play to instructions. You said Keshi still played him. Maybe, he took instructions during the tournament after Keshi pointed it out.

Where is the contradiction.

Ike Uche, I gathered, was always advocating the adoption of the tactics of his club and would easily make remarks about “how things are done in my club and how they should be done here.”

Sylvanus Okpala, then with the Eagles, reportedly once asked Uche that if all players in a national team insist on adopting their club tactics what will the confusion be like? Okpala advised him to stick to the game plans of the team and that he needed to respect the national team too.

I also gathered that Ike always did things his own way. But there were times his goals covered up tremendously for his tactical indiscipline or idiosyncrasies as the case may be. At the last Nations Cup in South Africa, Ike Uche didn’t have a good tournament.

His matter, I gathered, was compounded by the fact that he bluntly refused to obey instructions especially the one that had to do with marking. As a second striker, Uche was always asked to fall deep to mark. But he was always failing to do so after repeated warnings and opponents were exploiting the space he was creating by his action. It was so bad that even his fellow players complained, I gathered.

This sound familiar

"What do you mean by if true? Are you the one who drafted the tactics?"

You always talk like you assisted Keshi in drafting his tactics and game-plan while questioning the integrity of another person's opinion

For Christ Sake, that is a question. Is he the one that drafted the tactics to ask if Keshi was saying the truth to the best of my knowledge. How does this equate to you stating nonsense?

You are free to insult.

Thegoodjoe, I am tempted to wishing that your dreams come true. That a Local Carpenter coach takes over the reins of the SE so that your eyes will be opened (like Adam and Eve) and you will realise you were clamouring for carpenters.

However, I don't want my darling Super Eagles falling prey to the whims and caprices of evil coaches who only think about their pockets and how to add more adipose tissue to their pot bellies. Lai lai.......we have suffered too much in their hands

Stop arguing out of context. Take time to argue without abuse or insults. You will see your points will be coherent with the topic on ground.

I never called for a local coach but pointed out misconceptions about Keshi. How that landed at my wish for indigenous coaches beats my imagination.

oga go sleep, the tactics you are claiming keshi deploys is hoofing the ball straight from the defence/midfield to big striker upfront. hahahahahahaha

we all know what happened when he ran out of luck, the result was failing to qualify for the afcon with almost the same team that won it.

Keshi was far deeper than that. I will give you an example. Keshi devised that our attackers spread to the Wings before the long ball to reduce the pressure of tall Central defenders from battling the ball.

That helped our attackers have space to cause damage. If you look at some tactical insights from Keshi, you will appreciate him more.

Keshi failed to qualify because of inhouse fighting in the NFF that affected the team. Unpaid salary and bonuses affected the atmosphere of the team.

Were you not the same person clamouring for Amunike?

Saying that since he played with Pep at Guardiola, their coaching style is similar and he is more attack minded and modern than Rohr?

Reread. I was talking of Amunike coaching the u17 again. Not Super Eagles. I believe Amunike can handle it but for now I think he is more needed to help increase our pool of top quality talents.

Was Keshi corrupt? Yes, he was but some of his achievements overshadowed it. Poor team selection later caught up with him and culminated in our failure to make the 2015 AFCON.

As regards Osaze, poor man management. Same with Oliseh and Enyeama.
