Have been watching giannis games My God no hype that guy is epic Put that guy in a team with a few all stars and even Jordan himself would be worried He is only 24 I dont see him leaving bucks at all 2 Likes |

KarnBarlow:clippers were able to pull out wins without both their star players playing I dont see the Lakers doing it It's the painful truth Kuzma has to really really step up Last 2 games both AD and LeBron had to over exert themselves |

Ben "4 points" Simmons. Seems the Philly faithfuls are not worried though as they say He does other things that does not show up on the Score sheet i.e Elite Playmaking and Defense. |

iamJ: At this point, maybe it's about time we all admit unless things drastically changes, that "MVP Potential" most thought He had isn't simply going to come to fruition. He is currently towing the Andrew Wiggins path. |

Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 3:34pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
aliondo:Wiggins needs to be the first or second scoring option on his team. His growth was stunted by the acquisition of Butler. He should be all-star calibre by now. It's Markelle Fultz that has been a disappointment. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 6:34pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
steady986: How has Markelle Fultz been a disappointment when he didn't even get to play for like two years due to a career threatening injury? |

KarnBarlow:Let me know when you're done bloviating and moonwalking past your previous arguments KarnBarlow:You're so spectacularly obtuse sometimes I wonder why I even bother. You talk as if Hong Kong's opulence is down to its population and not down to the economic activity and ports that made it a financial hub. You had no business bringing up mainland China's economic turnaround as it is not germane to the discussion as to whatever system HK had been running from time immemorial Whatever mainland China has been able to do is completely unrelated to this subject matter but you're too dense to see it KarnBarlow:Shut up! Nobody is here for your nonsense history lesson. Is the Qing dynasty still in existence? Hong Kong was a spoil of war for the Brits so I don't know why you're bringing up past tense. Any objective and reasonable human with basic decency will expect agreements and established laws between two parties to be honored. Mainland China is reneging on that and the citizens of HK are rightly pushing back. This is not even a fight for secession as you foolishly alluded to earlier. Stop making this about the West and exposing your ignorance even further you abominable Muppet KarnBarlow:No one is saying that you pathetic Bronsexual. I am saying he made it about him when better informed people know taxpayers are also making it happen KarnBarlow:Your ability to process and understand is abysmal. I brought up MJ's charity work as a retort to buffoons like you who claim he does nothing in the community. Neither you or I are privy to their accounts so there is no way anyone can categorically tell who gives what. Not that it even matters because they both worked hard to make their wealth and are entitled to spend it how they both please. It is foolish in your part to conclude either person gives less or more because there is absolutely nothing you can prove Speaking up on issues? What has that ever solved? Anyway I don't blame you you're the typical black who is moved by noise and audio activists. When it was time for LeNomad to actually speak up we saw how he spoke up. For his $$ KarnBarlow:Ever heard of the phrase, 'Give him money this week and next week he's broke' If that's your definition of frugality then you're far far more stupid than I ever assumed. How many homeless people will Charles Barkley be able to give money? What happens when the money runs out? Sheesh! You're just an utter waste of my time. KarnBarlow:Shut up! It's a team sport. This is not the damn combine, this is not track and field you buffoon!! Any individual accomplishment outside the context of team is limited in it's usefulness. You have seen the image of Tom Brady's individual accomplishments and how it led his team to 9 Superbowls and 6 Superbowl rings. If you choose to bury your head in sand like an ostrich that's your personal problem KarnBarlow:Ronaldo is better. Choke on it What an eediot. It's like someone saying you cant compare Prince to MJ. Everyone with their preference but to say they can't be compared just like Ronaldo and Messi is asinine |

chic2pimp:Ben Simmons MVP potential? Lmaooooooo |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 8:12pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
A40:LOL You mean the arguments you create to argue with yourself on? You're so spectacularly obtuse sometimes I wonder why I even bother. You talk as if Hong Kong's opulence is down to its population and not down to the economic activity and ports that made it a financial hub. You had no business bringing up mainland China's economic turnaround as it is not germane to the discussion as to whatever system HK had been running from time immemorialBruh, this dude really claimed population has nothing to do with opulence? "Opulence is down to economic activity and ports". Yeah no sh-t einstein. Its that simple yes? This guy, i told you to consider a career in stand up. I really dont even know where to start. Its easier for less populated regions to grow. You tried to claim hong kong had some financial superiority due to their system and only someone extraordinarily naive will make that claim let alone try to downplay the role of population in sustainable growth. You cant compare a country like Qatars economic prowess which has a population of less than 3 million with a country like japan which has an advanced economy and though continues to experience deflation has been able to experience growth in the most difficult stage of economic growth, the innovation driven stage. But heres the thing genius, Qatar per capita wise is more opulent than Japan. Japan BTW has a population of over 100 mil and its resources are spread far thinner but its economy is a lot more impressive. I've tried to use the simplest terms I know so I hope you understand the ridiculousness of what you're stipulating. Its not just down to "economic activity and ports" thats gibberish. And as far as that Its about understanding what stimulates this economic growth and makes ports flourish. This has everything to do with China seeing as you tried to portray their system as inferior in relation to Hong Kong in terms of economic prosperity. Shut up! Nobody is here for your nonsense history lesson. Is the Qing dynasty still in existence? Hong Kong was a spoil of war for the Brits so I don't know why you're bringing up past tense. But this isnt the 19th century anymore and china has every right to treat a tributary as they see fit and to dismember whichever foreign system was instilled on the people. Again if you don't know theres a secessionist movement in Hong Kong and why the CPC is trying to make the reforms is making thats on you, not Ersan. Secession is definitely a theme and the longer game for the "free hong kong" proponents. Part of your problem is you don't understand the history, how are you supposed to understand the roots of the issues in the present? Last time i checked this is literally about outrage by the west on a western sports icon because he didn't outrightly support their western narrative that paints china as a draconian state overstepping its boundaries. This is also about a region that wouldnt have the level of autonomy it has if it wasnt for western influence in the first place. So you see, it has everything to do with the west, genius. No one is saying that you pathetic Bronsexual. I am saying he made it about him when better informed people know taxpayers are also making it happenHe made it about himself because he made an opening speech at a school that is named after him and wouldnt exist without him? Bruh, bronsexuals man Your ability to process and understand is abysmal. I brought up MJ's charity work as a retort to buffoons like you who claim he does nothing in the community. Neither you or I are privy to their accounts so there is no way anyone can categorically tell who gives what. Not that it even matters because they both worked hard to make their wealth and are entitled to spend it how they both please.Exactly! But dont blame us when we appreciate that one has decided to be a more selfless philanthropist who cares about his community and genuinely cares about his people. We must salute his empathy and that empathy unfortunately is a feather in someones hat in todays world. Speaking up on issues? What has that ever solved? Anyway I don't blame you you're the typical black who is moved by noise and audio activists. When it was time for LeNomad to actually speak up we saw how he spoke up. For his $$Are you really asking this? LOL! Speaking up on issues draw attention to them and strengthens a movement that creates change. What if MLK never spoke up on civil rights issues? malcolm x? these are people who have changed the world by speaking up. Pick up a book every once in a while please. If you are relating me to the typical african american i have my opinions on them and their culture and i have nothing in common with them. Me understanding the need to speak up on certain things is human decency. As a matter of fact you should be more empathetic towards them because most of them are your people, your kin, your blood, your brothers. Ever heard of the phrase, 'Give him money this week and next week he's broke'More ignorance, thinking homelessness is about joblessness or laziness. Most homeless people have genuine mental issues and if you cant effect the systematic change that will improve their lives the least you can do is ease their suffering at that moment or at least dont mock them or make ignorant statements like relating it to their work ethic. Shut up! It's a team sport. This is not the damn combine, this is not track and field you buffoon!! Any individual accomplishment outside the context of team is limited in it's usefulness.Just like hes led them to the best record in the NFL this year as well right? LOL. That patriots defense was the real MVP and still is. Thats why the patriots are still as good as they are. Stop arguing with facts. Ronaldo is better. Choke on itLOL, One thing ronaldo does better than messi, he doesnt have an answer but he swears hes the greatest. I have always found people calling ronaldo the goat to be effeminate and a lot of them are secretly in love with him. I mean what other reason is there for saying something so comical? Name calling when you are losing an argument doesn't do you any good you know. You just come off as a petulant sore loser. Looking at your other posts and you're a grown man, like 30+ who goes around a faceless forum shamelessly calling people names. Embarrassing! I used to think ersan wouldnt be a very good teacher but i guess ersan is better than i thought. Maybe having to type just makes ersan patient, especially since he doesnt have to experience the ignorance first hand. |

aliondo: It looks like something in His head has finally clicked and He now realises He really should be doing better. This Lad has all the talent and physical tools to be a Beast on both ends of the court. Let see if He maintains it right through to the end of the season. |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 9:07pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
A40: Yes you heard right. Most Analysts and scouts thought it was only a matter time before He claimed an MVP. That He has stagnated(all entirely His fault btw) does not negate that fact. FFS this dude's ceiling was Magic Johnson/King James coming into the draft. The only thing holding Him back is His unwillingness to improve His all round game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 9:13pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
You think the only reason why people will say Ronaldo is the goat is because they are in love with him? I swear you amaze me sometimes |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:52pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
donlittle25: Normally i don't bother replying people too scared to quote me directly but i will make this exception. What possible reason could there be when one player is superior to the other in every single way? Like i said, I despise messi, i liked cr7, i dissented but at this point if you think ronaldo is better than messi its either you're madder than a box of frogs or you're infatuated with him. Its that simple. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 10:09pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
Russell Westbrook and James Harden can never win a NBA championship with their playing style and the coaching they've had. They're better off chasing regular season records. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:14pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
chic2pimp: Someone who claims Siakam has the potential to be as good as AD is denying Ben Simmons has or had MVP potential. I have become desensitized by the lunacy in this thread. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 10:40pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
In discussing the heaviest puncher of all time that sentimentality and revisionism shows again. A lot of people say "Mike Tyson". Yes Mike Tyson will probably flatten Wilder if they fought, more technically sound, all round better boxer. But the idea that tyson is the heaviest puncher of all time is laughable, tyson relied on flurries on the inside and the timing and accuracy of his shots. A heavy hitter yes but the heaviest? Heck Foreman and Shavers hit harder than him. But we've never seen anything like wilder whose right hand is the kiss of death. He doesnt need to fully connect or land flush, he grazes you, sometimes even through your glove and you go down. Its extraordinary. Of course expect the old men to come out shouting Mike Tyson, FOH! I'm tired of these people acting like its sacrilege to mess with their nostalgia. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 10:57pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
chic2pimp:I don't know maybe because I was never really a fan of Ben Simmons game so I might have lacked a bit of objectivity. I didn't see any Magic or LeNomad in him. He's not a dynamic scorer that can take over games for one Maybe a light skinned, taller version of Rajon Rondo or Jason Kidd if Jason Kidd couldn't shoot (which he couldn't initially in fairness) But my rookie of the year for example was Donovan Mitchell |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:00pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
What is the matter with this buffoon! So if I don't feel Simmons has MVP potential does it mean the statement lacks credibility? I just don't see anything MVP about Ben Simmons and thus far I have not been proven wrong. How is this simple concept so difficult for this douchegoblin to grasp 2 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:24pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
I've never heard or seen Ben Simmons and MVP candidate in the same discussion. MVP is different from Rookie or the Year guys. He could be in the future but right now, nothing about him shows MVP material. |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 11:35pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: Thats the point. Someone here laughed off the possibility of him being an MVP candidate in the future. |

KarnBarlow:More verbose nonsense. What does this long diatribe have to do with the fact that China's policies played 0 role in Hong Kong's development. Which is the argument ab initio you obtuse cretin KarnBarlow:You jump into foolish conclusions faster than an insecure girlfriend. Sheesh! I didn't even mention anything about who was running the better system you silly dingbat. Stop lying unprovoked KarnBarlow:Shut up. You don't dismember a system that has been agreed upon and not expect push back you numpty! When a group of people feel their rights are being encroached it is only normal they fight back the way they know how. The secession agenda is not the theme of these present protests but if all else fails that is the card you foolish oppression apologists would try to play When you want to hang a dog it is only normal to give it a bad name KarnBarlow:Nobody asked him to support anybody. Stay neutral and don't criticize the people that do or did just to protect your interests then pretend like you're some form of activist I am not sure people will be burning his jerseys if he did that But they are overstepping their boundaries. That is the understanding till 2047 at the least. Stop bringing up past history you obdurate fool. That is not the issue at hand right now KarnBarlow:Blehhhh KarnBarlow:Your naivete and ignorance is in assuming the fight and struggle of activism is only fought one way. Really stupid of you KarnBarlow:Some people choose to speak, which is very easy to do because ofe l'ohun others choose to get things done silently. Neither approach is inferior or superior to the other The question is when it became time for your MCM to speak why did he keep shut. KarnBarlow:You are really stupid if you think handing out a dollar to every beggar on the street is the way to help a homeless person in the long term. You might have an issue with his bluntness which would be understandable but in the long run the MJ approach is still the best. Life can be unpredictable and people fall on hard times but it's the height of stupidity to advise a man to keep giving alms when they can advise said person to get work and be financially independent KarnBarlow:I'm sure it's the Patriots defense a collective of 11 BTW that won Brady his 3 NFL MVPs, 4 Superbowl MVPs, 3 TD titles and passing yards titles, it's also the defense that has helped Brady to over 70,000 passing yards. Stick to whatever you stick to cause the NFL is not your forte KarnBarlow:I don't know what Ronaldo's style of play and the 5 CL titles and European Championship he has led his respective teams to has to do with masculinity or femininity you homoerotic shitbrick KarnBarlow:I'm not the one creating 1,000 alter egos and burner accounts on a faceless forum. Doofus KarnBarlow:More verbose nonsense |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 11:38pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: Not currently Bruh. The Future MVP talk started right around the time He was drafted into the league. Remember we are talking about a Dude that generated a lot of hype even before He played a game for LSU. |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:39pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
SmooshCHN:I'm laughing it off now and in the future. Eni to ba wu ko be Is it not here they said we can't compare Siakam or Giannis to AD and they can't reach his level. And I daresay it is even less probable for Simmons to reach MVP status How can we be watching what Luka Doncic is balling at Dallas and someone will now be mentioning Ben Simmons and you expect me not to laugh |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:42pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
How good would the Mavs be if Tim Hardaway Jr played up to his contract level every night |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 11:50pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
A40: Probably that. He was neither a Dynamic nor an Aggresive scorer coming into League however many expected Him to develop that part of His game as He became more accustomed to the league. He was already a very good Facilitator and Defender and with His somewhat high BBIQ, everyone thought it was only a matter of time. Alas No. Kidd's development somewhat gives me hope that maybe all is not lost but then again Kidd was simply a terrible shooter not a Non shooter when He came into the league. |
Re: The NBA Begins by SmooshCHN: 11:50pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
steady986:What has the Lakers got to do with Fultz? I doubt you know what or who you're talking about here. T.O.S is not your average basketball injury. You basically have to learn how to shoot a basketball again. I know you want to sound like you have hot takes but James Harden will play like Harrison Barnes if he had the same injury. If he had the same opportunity like Mitchell, Lonzo, then you're free to call him a disappointment. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:50pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
Give Doncic the MVP award already. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:53pm On Nov 24, 2019 |
