Definitely, there are charges when you withdraw cash on such cards. However, when you pay online, you don't incur any fees.

LagosismyHome:

Are they any changes when someone withdraws or pays using this account

It may be probably the date you told them on ur application form that you intend to come into the UK.

Hi, been following the trend for a while now, thank you for all the information, may God bless you all for taking out your time to answer all the questions.....

I have a question:

I just got my tier 4 Visa today, for a 2 years masters in Teeside University. I am married with a son, I was advised by the school to apply for just myself as it will make the visa easier to get. My Visa valid date shows from 26th of December.

So my question is this, can I apply for my husband and son, now that mine is out or I have to wait till 26th of December? Please anyone with an idea should help answer. Thank you

It may be probably the date you filled on ur application form that you intend to come into d UK that they used to arrive at 26th

You can apply for them anytime even tomorrow as long as you have the money that meets the requirement..i mean their own maintenance money which is separate from the one you used during your own application.

You can travel after Dec 26th, applying separately was a mistake, you should have applied together.

I used standard o, it took exactly 2 weeks, applied on the 8th of November, and it came out yesterday 22nd of November.

AmbHenry92:

Wow, even after the reconfirmation. I think maybe they want people to enter after the xmas. Did you apply with priority or standard how long did it take? Anyway i think this is to favour you as your family can now apply and you guys can leave together.

Hi guys,

My visa is valid from the 29th of this month. Can I travel the same day I’ve been granted leave of entry or should I wait a day after?

I’m trying to book my flight and for some reason, the flights are more cheaper for the 29th and quite expensive from 30th onwards.

Thanks.

Liverpool very lovely city, home of LFC and Everton FC, lots of hospitality, bar/waiting on, care/support jobs. But I will advise you to look for a job relating to your current and future career to improve your skills/CV.

Accommodation budget should be around 300 a Month, you might see a single room for less. Healthy African and Nigerian population mix so a lot of African shops.

Kensington, anfield, Smithdown road are popular locations for students. Go on right move/ spare room to search for rooms/houses within L4,L5 l6 l7 l8 arears

De Montfort University.
Information Systems Management.

On their website, they have it as January intake (18 months) which I applied last week.
They sent a mail not quite long that it has no January intake and I should consider September shocked

Please can someone help me with affordable schools with Information Systems or Data Analytics or Cyber Security (January/February intake, and above 1 year of study). Thanks

Jobs
Jobs
JOB!!

When you think about job, think about Career.
There have been people who enrolled for 2 year masters at all manner of ‘campuses’ in London because there are JOBS in London.
These folks got plenty plenty jobs in hospitality, security, care, support etc.
The ‘bad news’ is that these jobs do not offer T2 visas.
These folks went back to Naija and have been bashing the UK system non-stop.

When you think JOBS, think CAREER progression too.

In addition to what LaaJiblik told you, ensure you only look for employer who is eligible to sponsor for Tier 2.

The below link will help you:
https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/register-of-licensed-sponsors-workers
https://www.gov.uk/tier-2-general
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration-rules/immigration-rules-appendix-k-shortage-occupation-list
https://www.gre.ac.uk/visa/after-your-study/tier-2-visas

Also, if your occupation is on shortage list, your Tier 2 visa fees will be lesser. Also, it will be much more easier to get a sponsor as the minimum annual salary theshold is reduced. If you want to obtain permanent UK residency after your Tier 2 visa has expired, you will be exempt from the £35,000 salary requirement if your job is on the shortage list.
