The seniors who we rely on are playing crap or haven’t been available for an extended period of time- Shaw, Martial, Radhford, Pereira, Pogba, etc.

Word on the street is that these academy graduates are really sticking it up to their seniors in training. I think the reason they’re not playing lots of games is because of the physicality of the EPL.

Brandon Williams is a tough teenager and he’s got the physicality. That’s why he’s above Young and Shaw in the pecking order.

The problem is that Maguire for some reason keeps getting played at LCB when he is actually quite heavily dependent on his right foot. So all you need to do is press him from the right side and force him left, and then he still uses his right foot (instead of his left) to pass those slow poison passes.

I think he started straight on the left side to cover for Luke Shaw, and has continued there since then.. before he came, Victor Lindelof was the LCB and earned "Ice-Man" in the process after a shaky start.
Maybe they both should be swapped, it just might bring out their respective best.
