@bold is wrong sir/madam mine took 10days or less with BC, if they actually send your EOR it doesnt take that long to get a result of EOR.

alphaNomega:

Remark will take about 3 months and if you open an EE profile that would be valid for one year, that is you wasting 3 months validity of your EE profile. IELTS for what it is would not improve your scores after the wait.

What to do?

1. Do not open an EE profile yet

2. Make up your mind to write the test again

I hope I am not too late

Gold evening everyone.

I need help..

I am currently filling our express entry profile.

1. My wife if the principal applicant. For her primary NOC, we used a secretary job she did from September 2015 to August 2016. I hope this is one year. She was moved to another role from September 2016.

2. While filling educational history. Should we fill all our educational history from secondary school to the highest qualifications obtained? Should this be done for both the principal applicant and accompanying spouse?

3. For work history we only filled the work experience that the principal applicant is claiming points for as per NOC. hope it's OK or do we need to fill all her work history in the last 10 years?

4. For the accompanying spouse.. Is it important to fill his work history while creating an express entry profile? He isn't claiming points with any NOC. if yes.. Should he fill his work history in the last 10 years?

Please how long approximately does the remark take? And can you open an EE while you wait? Didn’t see this info on their website.

I got my result on the 20th, applied for remark same day, result came on the 3rd. I only remarked the writing aspect. I think it's stated that you can't use the old one once you apply for remark. You have to wait for the result. I waited for the new result.

IELTS Writing Task 7

Your e-friend just added another year to his age last week. Write an express letter to him in a Canadian way.
In your letter:
- [s]commiserate with him on his loss of 6 CRS points[/s] congratulate and wish him a happy new and PPRosperous year grin

Write not more than 10 words.

Do not write any address. Begin with:

Dear Canadian in Diaspora,

#ifnot4OINP

doesn't prove he did the work. Your letter may say something while your actual roles in the company differs. @collineno have you added nysc

Yes I have obtained my NYSC reference letter, although no job duties were stated but it states every other thing like salary, date of employment e.t.c. can I use it to claim work experience??

As long as those documents can prove the following; that you are a confirmed employee, show your employment date(s), show your working hours/state that you are working full time (or part time as the case may be), indicate your salary per month/annum, inform them of your roles and are on a letter-head bearing the organisation's name, address and contact details, I think those documents, when merged into one (if you wish), will fly. Brother Collin, those details I listed above are what I believe are required in a reference letter.
All the best!
Thank you for your response. Must the letter say confirmed staff? I am still on probation and it was stated in my contract that I have to work 1 year minimum before being confirmed

Also, will current employers be contacted? If they do it might raise serious concern at work when your line manager gets to know that you are about to escape

Hmmm.... Inside life.
What can I do now?

alphaNomega:

It was intentional. IELTS would give you appropriate scores when it means nothing to you. Remember those parameters you fill before booking your test date? Purpose of exam and what not? It is as if your scores are predetermined before you even write the test
Re: Canadian Express Entry/federal Skilled Workers Program - Connect Here Part 9 by McTEE10(m): 7:50pm On Nov 25, 2019
Noted.

Thanks.

Eraytee:
You guys are taking this thing too far, who gave you that assertion? None of us is working with IRCC the last time I checked. All this would only cause panic and discourage some potential applicants. The fact that the cutoff is high presently is never equals to “NO HOPE” for crs below 460. If you can increase your crs do it, but we should stop saying things as if we know what tomorrow holds. It will end in praise for us all.

NB: please nothing is personal here I just want us to have positive energy not negative. God bless us all grin

Hello,

Please do we have anyone with an idea of how to resolve this issue of Unilag not doing second verification on time.

Over a month now and they are yet to verify, we have visited the school to make complaint still nothing was done.

It’s so unfair.
