Pinnick on Ebere Eze

”Can you imagine a midfield with Ndidi, Aribo, Etebo & Eze?

"I’ve no regrets talking to Eze, who visited me at home with his girlfriend.

"We talked at length in my house and I won’t relent on his pursuit until the deal is done.

"He is Nigerian, the next big football sensation and I would rather he achieves that mission wearing Nigeria’s jerseys, instead of playing for another country."

”We need to make a solid representation at Qatar 2022 & it starts with improving on your squad with quality players like Eze."

Pinnick should also not forget the Home front o.
Our League need to improve please.

Is his girlfriend a Nigerian?

Modified: Pinnick not even Rohr, mtweew

look at it this way,
with Etabo there, it will free both EZE and Aribo to go forward and do demage @ will, will also feeding/helping the striker and wingers in a 3.4.3 formation

To play Togo? OK

don't mind him...he will always look for excuse for Imama....

everyone who knows football...will tell you that imama has nothing to offer even if given the current super eagles team...

but Basco will never agree

whats wrong with playing a nation league side...like any of the NPFL club as friendly is that not a good test for the CHAN Qualifiers?

a coach who knows what he is doing, won't mind organise this friendlies with club sides close to their camp base and you must not wait for the clueless nff to do all things for you....

who did the yusuf team played prior they qualifed for the last one

still waiting for him to carve excuses for Agbiogun and the Olympic team gross failure in Egypt.

the first thing the NFFneed do right now is to employ an indigenous competent coach to assist rohr and also help build the CHAN and WAFU team... that's the best bet for NPFL players to climb up the ladder....

I have said it before. Imama has ruined the chances of our home based players getting into the national team. If the chan team qualified and got to the semi-finals of CHAN, Rohr will take a look at them. I wish Siasia was not banned; he is very good at discovering talents and also at youth/home-based football

This is the kind of mindset that I am talking about. U played Brazil and Ukraine for Lesotho but u want to tell me that we don't need friendlies to prepare for a neighbouring country.

I am not a f**l u people are just fighting to maintain the image of your Pinnick. There is no other excuse for this shameless looking of the other way for a man that has failed time and again. Without the super eagles he is a complete loser and any man or woman that says different has a flawed character

sentiment aside tammy is a good striker but i prefer osimehn because he is more rugged and physical. osimehn is a warrior who is ready to put his body on the line for his team and pose more threat to defenders than tammy because of his robust style of play.

osimehn reminds me so much of a young didier drogba and diego costa

CHAN 2018 Star, Anthony Okpotu is topping the goal chart in Tunisia after striking twice over the weekend.

The same Okpotu that some people used in berating the NPFL last year bossing a whole Tunisian league?

Admin and structure are the banes of the league, not really dearth of players

if u want to atack him for d inclusion of opabunmi while not atack him for including Eric orjiofo, benediction akwuegbu,Christopher justice and Vincent enyeama too
God bless you my man.I emember the same Onigbinde made 22 years old Keshi SE captain at Afcon 84 over his kinsman Muda Lawal who was appearing in his 5th Afcon.

Do they forgot that prior to 2002 WC the team was banned and only experienced players like Neankwo Kanu,Austin Okocha,Adepoju,Shorunmu,Taribo,Babayaro were recalled with rookies like Enyeama,Ejide and Opabunmi made the team with Osaze as alternate player.

I will always say NO to tribalism on this thread.

I don't want to make this a big deal but how would Rohr have felt if he wasn't given a single friendly match before playing such important matches? Our main team played Ukraine and Brazil but who did the Chan team play to prepare? 4 years ago we played Yaya Toure's ivory Coast as preparation and he couldn't believe they were home based. Then last Tim we at least went on tour in Spain. This ishh is not rocket science. Failure to prepare is preparing to fail

Anything to hang the local players

Brazil and Ukraine were played as friendlies, not because of Lesotho. Where did you get this conclusion from?

How can you say those games were for Lesotho? Is that how you saw them? I thought it was just to make fans happy and show that Pinnick is working, I never assumed it had anything to do with Lesotho, especially considering the intervals of the games.

Did we not play Benin before Lesotho? Why did you skip Benin and go right down to Lesotho as the purpose of the Brazil and Ukraine game? undecided

Walahi the theories y'all come up with on this thread sometimes sha....

Men always find a thousand and one excuses for men failures. Super Falcons are constantly sent off for tournaments without friendlies and they still manage to put in a good shift on the continent, but CHAN Eagles need to play friendlies with Barcelona and Portugal to win Togo

onigbinde took the possible best we had at the time when the core members of the team were banned. those young players onigbinide took to the world cup went on to form the the core of the new era after the world cup.

any right thinking 9ja footie fan will never blame him for the team's poor run at the 2002 world but the nff and sport ministry then. to me the team played to their full potentials but lacked the quality and experience for a tournament of that magnitude

exactly if he continue to work hard. heard that he has this beast and workaholic attitude and mindset in lille during training sections and if that is true then he is on the right path to become bigger in the near future.

what i love so much is his never say die attitude, he is as well a good motivator and has the charisma of a leader coupled with his fearless approach to games. in osimehn we have a big talent who will marvel the football world in no distance time

The Onazi you are screaming up and down almost lost his leg in that game. So it was not possible to control the game with a less physical player.

It was not tactics that let us down. If not the French would not have resorted to dark tactics to win. We lost due to the dark game of the French.

Finito.

At least, you have admitted we lost due to dark tactics and not due to our inability to control the game with smallish Onazi. Thank you. EOD
