‘You lots’ is not in anyway condescending. It’s general in that context.

If the trip fails, use the estimate from the rider’s app and do + or - depending on the traffic conditions.

Then do a review. Deliberately not reviewing and collecting the estimate from the rider’s app is cheating.

People don’t see it as cheating though. They see it as ‘God catch you’ because you lots are too vindictive.

Are you not same guy that said if you see a trip you're not taking you will put on your vehicle asked rider to seat down, put on the AC and radio for him/her and wait till the person get another driver who is ready to go to riders destination?

Well I'm not surprised... Everyone can be anything on social media.

Good evening.

I remember someone here shared how he took a rider from Lekki to MM2 and the trip showed #500. The lady paid him #500

I could go on and on, but I don't think you really understand the plight of this business

I have had riders who never paid me till today. Bolt told me there's nothing they can do. That's why I stopped looking for trips at Fela shrine

As long as there's no means to retrieve the cash from crazy riders, that issue will keep happening

It’s simple what I am saying. If you collected #500, then there’s no need to review the trip that failed at #500.

But if you collected the estimated rider app amount and still did not review the ride, it’s pure stealing.

I once got a request in ajao estate. Rider was going to fester.
Spent almost 2hrs before getting to FESTAC, ended trip and saw #500. And taxify said I should collect #300.

I started explaining to rider that the trip failed, so we should use the estimate. He said no that he's paying #300. Said the trip did not fail, that he's on promo.
We argued till I almost got tired. Yet, he insisted on paying what he saw.

I got angry and started raising my voice. was ready to fight him cos I felt he's being wicked. He was putting on an ear ring (seems gay).

When he noticed that I'm not taking it, he started begging me with #500 that he doesn't have money. Said he was actually banking on the promo cos he used a promo code before making the request.

I ended up collecting #500.

Should I have such experience again and rider agrees to pay the estimated amount, I shouldn't make up for the lost money by not reviewing??

From your explanation that was a cash trip. And I can categorically tell you that bolt would not reimburse you a dime for it.

It doesn't occur to you that what will come up after reviewing might be higher than what you collected as the estimate?

I once had a request on taxify. (card trip).
Ilupeju to gowon estate.

We made a stop at ikeja GRA, another stop at Opebi before we headed to Egbeda.

At a point, I noticed that the fair was not reading again after getting to 2.5k. I changed the destination to another place, then changed it back to Gowon estate. Checked price again and saw 1.5k. It remained at that price till I got to his destination.
Ended trip and saw 1.5k. The man asked me what happened? I said I don't know, hoping that he will add something for me seeing that the trip failed. But he just said that it's a card trip, there's nothing he can do, and went inside his gate.

I reviewed and it later came up to 2.3k. But this is a trip that's not meant to be less than 3.5k because of the stops we had. But taxify reviewed based on what the fair should be without the stops putting me at loss.

If I should have a cash trip next time that failed, but I'm able to negotiate with the rider for a reasonable amount, you'll still expect me to review?

Well....
I understand you're not a driver, but just a good citizen, trying to make common sense. So your point is valid.

But please don't judge what you haven't experienced.

That was my first experience of a failed trip. I didn't even know that I needed to review before ending the trip. But I ended and couldn't see a way to review.

I thought it's like uber that you can only review after ending a trip.

I've discovered a way of avoiding a trip from failing though.

Those two experiences up there are the only failed trips I've ever experienced on Taxify.

That place ehn...

I picked 4 grown men from Berger to Fela shrine around 11pm. I didn't know they were four till they entered..... At first I thought it was Ikeja, till they said Fela shrine.... Chai

I've lost a lot at that place. I never go there to find trips... So many irresponsible folks using the app these days

One simple thing I do.

I'll touch my home button and highlight all the apps running at that time and clear it all.

I'll turn off my data and open taxify app. It will say "not internet".

I'll leave it that way and turn my data on again and wait for the app to open. Then calculate price.

I've noticed that any trip that will fail don't show any amount when you try to calculate price. It'll just be turning with no amount coming up. So I always calculate price before ending any trip. And if it doesn't come up, I'll just do my trick.

It have never disappointed me.
