Frankrobbn1:And what pleasure do you derives in dishing out false information applicants, yes IRCC requires an applicant to show a proof of fund up to about certain amount which could be less, equal or above the stated figures. The main concern of the IRCC as mandated to Visa officers is to critically examined the sources of such fund, and of which a sponsor pay stub takes care of that. So in essence, if an applicant sponsor is able to show a proof of fund of about N1.5m with adequate source of income then the applicant is good to go.. It's very wrong to advice against 6.5m POF. Yes on Saturday I leaked a vital information which we don't let out to the public but you counter it, and I gave you an assignment to refer or quote how many students from top federal universities I listed that got visa rejected. I repeat again the IRCC have the list of universities in Nigeria which they give preference for study permit and if you're not a graduate of these institutions, then it will be very difficult but not impossible to get study permit approval hence the many refusals from Nigeria. Mr man, I'm not debating with it I'm educating you on what you don't know and I will advice to learn and not forming James bond for me. Finally, in as much as I appreciate and give you kudos for the guide you've offered in this forum, I will advice you to welcome every information you get from other members especially those contributions that seems to be contradicting your point of view. 1 Like |

senoritzy:That's the point I'm making, POF is beyond showing millions of naira in the SNigeriare are points which the Visa officers consider in making decision of inadequate or insufficient fund, mostly adequacy of fund. Last year a graduate of UNN in these forum got an approval with just N150k or less SOA.. Another and the main reason for generic points of refusal such as insufficient fund, I'm not satisfy you will leave Canada after study, travel history, home tie etc is as a result of the applicant previous institution which may not be among their list of approved institutions in Nigeria though the Visa officers will not state it direct but rather use one these generic reasons for you to come and reapply and thus get another hammer. 4 Likes |

I understood the feedbacks coming from Nigeria in recent days of the stress Nigerians are undergoing, in-view of the forgoing the citizens of my country the giants of Africa reacts differently to the stress which make some to vent their stress in a forum like this. For instance how can in a country you subscribe for a monthly internet 3times in a month, when DSS can't obey Judiciary of the release order, when Nepa is celebrated every hour with low voltage, when guys will stand the whole day in the environs where there is free wi-fi and come to NL to vent the nearsighted views. Abeg make I go sleep if you like go after them when battery and network go fall their hand soon. I come in Peace. Linzo: You need to read up on the above on CIC website. Also, someone asked a question, Frank replied, instead of you to give your suggestion to the person who asked the question, you rather chose to attack Frank. You have been on attack mode since last week, I honestly don't know what you are on about. While I appreciate the need to have more people contribute on this thread so that we look at this visa issue from different angles (and not just from the regular gurus perspective all the time) it is needless to start attacking people. 6 Likes |

Linzo ... Yes on Saturday I leaked a vital information which we don't let out to the public but you counter it.... Who are the "we"? you be visa officer? lol "...IRCC have a list of universities in Nigeria which they give preference for study permit..." Do you have proofs to this or you came about this conclusion just because you happen to know few people from federal universities that got their visas approved? There are thousands of study permit applications to Canada from Nigeria and you cannot use the few people you know in real life or on Nairaland to make such conclusions. Meanwhile, I did a little digging on you. You claim to be a first class graduate from a federal University in Nigeria working in a multinational company. For someone that knows so much about Canada (you know the list of universities the visa officers have), I am shocked you are trying to process Germany student visa where you need blocked funds and not Canada where you can easily use 150,000 naira SOA to get study permit (according to you). Anyways, I wish you all the best in your Germany study visa application. 7 Likes |

You guys should just ignore this linzo fellow. Search his moniker and you will find out it is just a waste of time to have a constructive conversation with him. He is in every thread acting like an expert on matters he has no full grasp of. 1 Like |

This Linzo guy is just seeking attention and you people are giving it to him. Nobody should reply his post. Read and pass. He will get tired. We had one Jesseve like that on here. She has even deleted her account and ran off nairaland. So just relax everyone, its a matter of time. Time will sort out things. Nobody is forcing any advice on anyone. Pick what you want and thrash the unnecessary ones. 2 Likes |

IboBoyNuel: Hello IboBoyNuel, Congratulations on the first phrase of your visa application. However, I will love to know the cost of your prospect program in Centennial college. For immigration purpose through study route, the most suitable duration of studies is opting for a 2yr program. This qualifies you for a 3yr PGWP when compared to a 1yr program equals 1yr PGWP. With a 3yr PGWP, you can have sufficient time applying anf securing your PR. However, with the 2yrs program after securing your 3yrs PGWP and then PR you can decide to do a Master program which will enable you pay cheaper tuition fees same as that of domestic students. On the other hand, you can as well decide to pursue another 1yr program prior to the end of the first. The burden here is the tuition expenses and time. However, the completion of a two separate 1yr program can earn you 3yrs PGWP or as the case may be based on the discretion of IRCC. In answering your questions: 1. Yes 2. You can make that decision following my analysis. But personally, i will go with a 2yr program. All the best. |

I did my biometrics and submission since 18th of November. On the 19th, I got a letter that it is on its way to IRCC and on 20th got another mail that it had arrived. I just got a mail this evening reminding me of the biometrics, with a past date. What does this mean? I already completed my biometrics. Did anyone else get this message? 1 Like |
