By the way i know a few people in football not everybody.

You have decided to be purposefully misleading and be far from balanced indeed completely biased. The commentary and facts concerning Sadiq are vast, in many cases he was ridiculed by the Rangers fans as well. But you didn’t look for facts but are using conjecture to justify the unjustifiable. You could not play the racism card because Ovie and quite a few black players were in the team.

Consider the bolded, so because someone is from my country, my tribe, my village i must believe his story without question, that’s the anchor on which our national problems rest, nepotism and double standard.

I chose to believe the facts and the pattern of events associated with those facts, not just the one-sided rantings of a disgruntled player that were made over 6 months ago. As with regards to there being no reply from the club, it’s very simple clubs will not give credence to nonsense by replying, he is essentially inconsequential to them.

But who is Sadiq Umar, 22 years old and has never played more than 18 games in a season of football over the past 6 years, his career has been stop start and stop start nothing outstanding? His career has been far from impressive. Until now at this lowly rate league and club that can’t even be competitive in the UEFA league, he is now outstanding. However, he has to prove that he can cut in a top 10 European league because for the past 6 years he has proven that he cannot, again easily substantiated.

I gave you two examples of failings and commentary about him as indicators to the much wider problem, he is not good enough for Rangers. Well before Sadiq had arrives in Scotland, I said and still say he will struggle in a physically intense league such as the England league 1, I said that donkeys ago. I actually thought there was something wrong with his feet because he was always falling over. I remember Tbaba1234 made the same observation.

Football is about opportunity and what you do with it, OPPORTUNITY is key and taking advantage of your opportunity is absolutely vital. Sadiq got his first start for Rangers a great opportunity to make a claim but he completely made a hash off it and totally disgraced himself by his dishounourable conduct diving in front of an open goal. Add to the fact that he was also poor in training his time was simply up.

When you come on loan to a club, " You are not guaranteed playing time, you absolutely have to earn it "

With regards to the club rankings it does not reflect the HERE and NOW in European football as it’s an aggregate of historical results not present results in the UEFA & Champions league. That’s why Arsenal is rated 9 and Liverpool 8, Arsenal that has done nothing in the past 10 years plus. Once again, your clutching at straws to present subjectivity as substantiated fact.

Google is your friend it doesn’t take much to get press reports and substantiate to have objectivity. But you went emotive and so did the vast majority of people here. The vast majority being sentiment and emotive led as well as, followed a statement that was self-birthed , self-justified, self-deduced with zero corroboration.

What’s disappointing is that some of you here are graduates, Masters and even PhD Holders. Where is your balance score card assessment? Where is your weighting of probabilities and or the judgement of the reasonable man? I find what we do here in attitude reflects in a micro context what happens in the nation at large. No wonder the nation is in such a mess.

WHY THE GOLDEN GENERATION COULD HAVE REACHED THE SEMI-FINAL OF THE WORLD CUP

The golden generation of the 94 to 2010 super eagles could have reached the semi-finals of the world cup and perhaps won more nations cups BUT for some unfortunate reasons

1. SACKING COACHES AND PLAYERS AT THE LAST MINUTE TO A COMPETITION: This happened in france 98 and 2002 world cup. You see you do not change your coach months before a competion. Prior to France 98, we hired a new coach which was disastrous. We should have continued with Trousier or at least hired a coach who was already part of Nigerian football to continue with the team. Bonfere or even Amodu will be better. You dont change a winning coach or team.
It was worse at the 2002 world cup. WE SHOULD NOT HAVE DISBANDED THAT TEAM. THAT TEAM COULD HAVE AT LEAST REACHED THE QUATER-FINALS. IT HAD THE RIGHT BLEND OF TALENT AND EXPERIENCE. SACKING MOST OF THE PLAYERS WAS A TRAGEDY FOR NIGERIAN AND AFRICAN FOOTBALL. Amodu should have just managed the teams ego and indiscipline. WE LOST A GREAT OPPORTUNITY. WE DID NOT REALIZE THAT YOU CANNOT BUILD A WINNING TEAM IN A FEW WEEKS.
BY THE way amode should have been left with the team in 2010. the revolution should have started AFTER THE WORLD CUP.

2. INDISCIPLINE AND COMPLACENCY ON PART OF THE PLAYERS: This was why we did not qualify for the 2006 world cup. We were so careless that when we woke up and defeated Algeria 5 2, it was too late (by the way i remember that sweet Kanu dribble against Algeria). and Angola qualified ahead of us. Again we could have made a quaterfinal in the 2006 world cup if we had qualified.

we need to understand how to develop a winning team. If our team is going through periods of indisipline, sacking everybody (players and coaches) does not help.

3. NOT GOING TO THE NATIONS CUP IN 96 AND 98: IF WE HAD GONE, THE TEAM WILL HAVE DEVELOPED FURTHER DUE TO COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL.

IN CONCLUSION I SUGGEST WE LIVE ROHR WITH HIS WEAKNESSES UNTIL 2022 AND THEN WE CAN BRING IN ANOTHER COACH. THIS TEAM IS DEVELOPING AND IT WILL BE SUICIDE TO CHANGE IT.
I DONT BLAME OUR FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATORS AS THEY DID NOT REALLY UNDERSTAND HOW TO DEVELOP FOOTBALL AND THE DYNAMICS OF A WINNING TEAM.
NOW THAT WE HAVE LEARNT FROM HISTORY, WE SHOULD NOT REPEAT OUR MISTAKES. IF THE PRESENT BUNCH OF VICTOR OSIMEHN, SAMUEL CHUKWUEZE, IWOBI AND CO START MISBEHAVING WE SHOULD HANDLE THEM WITH CARE AND NOT START SACKING PLAYER AND COACH. WE SEEM TO BE PRODUCING ANOTHER GOLDEN GENERATION AND WE MUST LET CONSISTENCY BE OUR WATCHWORD

U going outta context. This is about the top 20 coaches in the world presently and emphasis on why Djamel made the top 5 while Rohr is languishing in the bottom 20. The other guy(Darkelf) wanted to belittle the efforts and achievements of Djamel, hence I asked him why those were tall orders for his super efficient Rohr, then to make him sweat more, I dropped Djamel's stats since taking over the reigns. What offense did I commit? grin

Wolves has 8 Portuguese players if you add Jimenez and Boly that will make it 10 Portuguese sourced players. Benfica has 12 Portuguese players while FC Porto has 10.

Before coming here to say rubbish I think you should change your glasses when check wiki and go take extra maths lessons.

You are free to check the squad list.

When it's your favourites players in the championship you tell us how the championship is the highest rated second divsion in the world but for other players UEFA coefficient rating doesn't matter.

Yes, according to UEFA coefficient Partizan Belgrade is 71 while Glasgow Rangers is at 120. Kindly check the teams below Partizan Belgrade. That's an upgrade if you ask me.
