Q. 2. Please for those presently in Germany, which of the Universities are closer to Hamburg or between Hamburg and Kiel? I know very well of Kiel University which I applied for, but I need to extend my application to more than 5 University which should be near Hamburg since I have an available accommodation there.

Q. 3. My transcript is enclosed is it right for me to open it then Authenticate the transcript, which will enable me submit to other University which aren't under Uni Assist. Or should I work with only Uni Assist?

I just got a Rejection Letter from Mannheim University.
Their reason is that I didn't certify all the pages of the copy of my Transcript.
Meanwhile, that's the same format I used to apply for other schools through Uni-assist last winter semester & it wasn't rejected.

Pls, how do I go about this appeal because they have given me 1 month to do so.

I do not have the requested format, what I have is a word of advice. I would suggest you address the rejection by ensuring that, all the pages of your transcript are certified and writing to them stating that it was an oversight on your part.

You could also get in touch with the course coordinator to seek his/her advice/guidance. My one cent, all the best.

How did you go about the certification of your degree certificate and transcripts? Was it sent directly from your Nigerian university to the German university? Because looking at the information on the German university website it was stated that they accept copy of stamped and sealed certificates and transcripts from the issuing university, only documents that are not mandatory can be certified by other institution like the embassy, High Court and so on... See screen attached....

My advise is to approach your Nigerian university to request to send both a copy of your degree certificate and transcripts to the German university.... Also, send a mail to your course coordinator to find out about the appeal if should come in form of a letter or how? In your appeal let them know it was an oversight of the need to send university certified transcripts and certificates....

I may be wrong.. It's just my suggestion though...

1. Your letter and recommendation is the business of the individual schools not uniassist. The focus of uniassist is your certificates

3. Open it and certify it so you can use it for other schools and even embassy interview or you want to repeat application for transcript go the future? What I did then was to remove the front page that contains the address then I certify the other pages. I don't know how your transcript is structured but just find an way around it to save cost and stress.

However, I can't forward any documents to them anymore as application deadline has passed (15th Nov.) & it was expressly stated that "any application that is incomplete or not in due form before the application deadline would be excluded from the admission process". So I really need another good reason that would be acceptable.

Though I could contact the course coordinator as suggested.

All of my application in last winter was applied with letter of English proficiency and i got 6 admissions.. It has to do with more research on various German universities on both daad.de and study-in-germany.de website... Although writing English test like TOEFL and IELTS gives you more schools to apply either directly or via uniassist, but EPL (English Proficiency Letter) can still get you more admissions like me....

Register on the site you will see were you will be asked about your old number. Fill it in and dey will send you message that it has been changed instantly in your mail

It will not show but they have it with them. You don't have any reason to be be worried about that.

You have to request for it from the school you graduated from. Some schools you will get it from you H.O.D while some schools you get it from the school Record office at their Senate building. So basically you get it from your school,go to your school to know where to get it and I believe all schools charge fee for it,so be prepared.
