Neimar: Walahi, Pinnick has got serious queries to answer, how did things get this bad? Imagine, the same Brazilians that needed extra time to beat us couple of years back. And this hurts more seeing Senegal march to the quarters. Apart from the super eagles, pinnick's presidency as been a total failure. Remember two years ago when we failed to qualify for all football tourneys bar the senior world cup. Things are just going shamefully down and I am so angry right now 2 Likes |

charlesemeka85: This was why some of us supported Oghenekaro going to Stoke at that time. A better offer could come, yeah, sure. But also, he might not get half as good offer too. It's just the way life is. You don't know tomorrow. 1 Like |

komekn: Sorry o, but one of the few things we do ask of you is, why don't you apply all these same yardstick to Iorfa's situation? i mean, you just qouted a host of links that supports your claim(i'm not really concerned whether or not it's true), but vehemently rejected links that carried Sadiq's story as untrue. Question is, what makes your own links any truer than his'? 5 Likes 1 Share |

forgiveness: Sadiq is almost 23. Has played professional football for 6 years plus and 75 games since 2014 that's not good enough. Why so few games if he is so good. He has played in a number of leagues Eredivisie, Seria A and B, Scottish premier league and now Serbian league. Prior to playing in the Serbian league has not been outstanding. He just been at best average if not below. Before he went to Rangers the highest number of games he played in a season was 12 games that's very poor to be honest. He has never played more than 17 games in a season in his entire career. And that has been at higher sub10 rated leagues in Europe. That will change now in Serbia now for him. If he had not been to other leagues before going to Serbia. I would be very optimistic. So he has to get to better league to prove his quality. Scottish league is a higher rated league not in dispute. Football is always about the HERE and NOW. Quite recently Rangers beat Porto among other higher rated clubs. Who has Partizan beat in the UEFA of higher rating ❓ Let's look at value which club has the higher quality of players. We can look at in financial value of players, that's a good start. Just Morelos and Aribo in value and pedigree will exceed the total value of thier players. There are others attracting transfer speculation. The most expensive player they have is Markovic has a poor reputation on and off the pitch. From his time at Liverpool. Future look at the players of Rangers a club that Flanagan( former high flying Liverpool & England RB) is struggling to get game time. I find no comparison between them in the HERE and NOW. If you use Transfer Market the club players in entirety are valued at £40 Million and l don't even trust thier valuation they are not very market responsive. UEFA Partizan are in Group L the easiest group but have been generally poor. The only team that's quality there is Manchester United. Rangers are in a far harder group but are second in the group. With Feyenoord ,Porto and Young boys. But are joint group leaders Celtic have 10 points and are top of thier group. An indication of how the Scottish league two top teams are progressing. Will you agree it's much easier to go from Rangers to bigger clubs than Partizan. ❓ That's my take Rangers is ahead 2 Likes |

Taliban: U dey mind am. Last two years we failed to qualify for the u17 and u21 world cups. This year that we somehow managed to qualify (finishing 4th on the continent in both) we presently teams that are completely unrecognisable as a Nigerian youth side. Crashed out of CHAN Crashed out of the Olympics ( male and female) And now this scandalous performance by the sand eagles? Oya tell me, what else do we need to access the NFF as a body. And as the president, the bulk stops on his table. 1 Like |

Taliban: so nah pinnick fault abi? Before you open ya mouth con ask such sillidity of a question as to who hire the coach, ask yasef those questions first 1. Do we have a functional beach league in naija? 2. Is the NFF in charge of beach football in naija? ( i purposely ask dis one ) 3. Are the players we parade beach football players? 4. Can you name the local/international beach club of any of naija players? I could go on and on, let me stop here |

Taliban: Oga, it cannot always go our way, not recently we were qualifying and wining right left and center. That us football for you. Its topsy turvy, these things happen so we sit up and get our acts together. The problem is bigger than pinnick. Is he running a one man show at the NFF? The technical committee nko? Is it not their job to recommend a coach or coaches to the NFF board for appointment? If pinnick rejected those appointments una go complain. |

Truidstar: So are you saying he should continue to stay on as NFF chairman? The Buck stops at his table and he takes the bulk of the blame. That's leadership. In other saner countries, him and his goons would've resigned but in Naija, they don't. Even if they have terminal cancer |

jihday: If you are a real fan you go and buy your clubs jersey. All this is excuse making. Nigerian football fans need to do more than make excuses. I know people who go on road trips to buy one item so how is this a big deal? It is the club you love. This should be simple to ask. 1 Like |

komekn: Dominic was born in UK and was moved from the club's academy to the first team. Sadiq left Nigerian at the age of 17 for Spezia. You don't expect him to have more games time than the UK born academy graduate. How many kids leaves Africa as such a young age and start getting game time in the first team of any European club?? Spezia later sold him to As Roma. If he wasn't good they wouldn't have bought him. You said Football is about HERE and NOW. HEREand NOW, UEFA coefficient ranks Partizan Belgrade at number 71 while your Glasgow Rangers is at number 120. Oga if you like analyse from now till when next world cup starts, these arguments are unnecessary. UEFA has spoken. You no know pass UEFA. Group L is the easiest group in your eyes abi. The same group L that has Manchester United and Az Alkmaar (current second position in the Eredivisie while feyernood is 10th on the table). Just so you know Astana is rated higher than Rangers according to UEFA coefficient ranking HERE and NOW. 8 Likes 2 Shares |

Blueelf: Oga, you are nothing but a CONFUSIONIST. We had a bad year. We won the U17 back to back under the same leadership, Awcon, qualify easily for Nations cup and Worldcup. So we should all just throw it all away just cause we had a not too great year. Bless the stars people at the top dont reason like you. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by godspeed: 12:37pm On Nov 27, 2019 |
Truidstar: This is just as lame as it gets, oga, we should be progressing not regressing. This team has qualified for the quarter finals twice and we should be building on that instead of retrogressing. Do u know Oman had thier second ever victory in the tournament against Nigeria, like seriously. Look at how Senegal has grown over the years. Where was Senegal when we were putting up decent results in the first three editions. They have since grown in leaps and bounds while we are posting scandalous results. I'm not even pained that we lost, with two former champions in the group, we had our work cut out from the onset, but losing 12 -2 ,come on, that is unacceptable. I know you have no problems with Pinnick because of course, the super eagles are putting up impressive performances, but know that the super eagles will not always continue to make us happy, it is in these other teams we always find consolation and something to cheer when the eagles let us down. Apart from the super eagles, can u please point to any other national team that has been impressive even on the continent and I mean teams that are dominant by default like the falcons, falconets , eaglets e.t.c |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by godspeed: 12:42pm On Nov 27, 2019 |
